i love malandrino, and i applaud her for branching out from the norm. but this look is not for me.

I would never wear it here in Calgary on the street! But it looks good on her on the runway

i love the bright colors and amazing originality of the suit. That could dress anyone up easily.

Like most runway looks, it isn't meant to be worn directly as it appears on the runway (at least not by "real women"). Bits and pieces are incorporated (such as the color palette and/or the ruffles) into a more simple, paired-down outfit. I really love the saturated color palette.

sorry, i hate booties. it ruins the whole look for me. i don't like it.
with a different shoe, it would look fab.
