I love Cate but this dress does nothing for her. I always love what she wears but this is a no no. I think it would work better without the side panels of extra material

While I have my usual reaction to what Cate's wearing (that being that there's always one thing about her look that I just don't get, which here is the length), her make up and hair looks fresh and pretty, which is more than I can say for a lot of people.

Usually she dresses more classy but looks a little plain, but here she looks the most beautiful I recall seeing her, but with a wreck of a dress that looks like something you'd wear clubbing in 1982.

Cate is a risk taker--she hits a homerun or strikes out, and this is the latter. I hate the multiple lengths, and moreover, it's so sheer you can see her black thong in the front. Ick. Love the shoes. Hate the hair color (too "warm"), hate the hair style. She looks great when she plays to her fair skin, and this doesn't do anything for it.

such a talented, beautiful, classy lady (lady in the true sense of the word), that it's such a shame she went with this horrible dress/outfit/getup. her smile and natural looking makeup really makes her stand out, though. i agree with the people above, anyone else in this dress would have looked worse.

I love this dress on Cate. While she pulls off color better than most, this is perfect for a trim girl like her. Not many people could pull off the extra fabric on the hips. And I love how tailored the dress around her waist and legs. Cate takes risks, but not for risk's sake. She is a very independent dresser.

I don't hate the dress, but I don't like her hair with the dress. Makes her look messy and washed out, and she usually hits the home runs at these award shows, but not with this outfit.

O.K. I'm torn with this dress. Everything about Cate Looks very well put together the thing is I don't know if the dress should have been longer. Maybe it the shoes? I really don't know I can't say I love it and I don't hate it. I just think it's a big ?

I'd like it if the dress came all the way down to the her feet. She looks very nice but the front of the dress has got to go. I am also NOT a fan of lace...blah!
