Got to be H&M, I just have to avoid the blinding nu-rave emo clothes on entrance. But they always have a little gem hidden somewhere.

My favorite chain stores are H&M, Express, and Charlotte Russe. I can almost always find something I like there for cheap $$. Forever 21 has some cute, fun stuff sometimes, but I HATE how messy the store is. It takes so long to go through all the racks.

I don't have ONE favorite. I like them all! I try and find something from every store

I work at a major department store so I can get things cheap, but hate the quality of h&m and forever 21. If only top shop was in america!!!

I loooooooooooooooove H&M but it's touch and go there a lot. Either I love everything they have or it's all hideous. Em I agree with CR, we always make out well there.

Forever 21 is horrible. They are blatantly stealing copyrighted materials, there are like seven pending lawsuits against them and the owners claim to be devout Christians. I've boycotted them. They also have a dreadful return policy that they don't even tell you about and considering how cheaply made their stuff is, its ridiculous. You can get better interpretations of runway trends at H&M and elsewhere without dealing with such hypocrisy and junk. I had an aunt who was a seamstress and from a rather middle class background and she always said that its not a deal if the quality is poor. You end up wasting your money. I've never had problems with the quality at Zara or H&M or TopShop(when I'm in London to buy it of course)

H&M, it's closer. No Mango or Top Shop nearby. Zara is okay, but farther away. Forever 21: the clothes smell funny. My hubby says it smells like the sweat shop the clothes were created in.

I do shop at H&M, but my favourite place to shop is a Canadian shop called Suzy Shier. They have great prices and fun, professional clothes. It's not as heavy in the trends, but it's great for looking amazing at the office. All my suits, dress pants, sweaters and blouses come from there. They have more of a feel and price range of say Wetseal, to compare it to a US shop.

Other: I love Ross and TJ Maxx. I couldn't find anything to wear out last Friday, so I ran to TJ Maxx and found Marc Jacobs tank for $25. Score!

you all are gonna laugh at me but i find some really good stuff at Target lol. i loved topshop and zara when I was studying in Ireland but unforch i'm in Detroit so they are obviously a no go. I don't mind H&M but it's not the first place I think of to go. So yeah, I'm a big Target/Maurice's/Kohl's shopper.

I chose Zara but it's really Zara, Mango and H&M. I love them all! We don't have Topshop or Forever 21 here in Germany but I have checked both of them out online and love Topshop! I don't like Forever21 though. I'm suprised Urban Outfitters didn't make your list!

I'd have to say H&M- it's the most accessible in terms of locations, price and quality. Zara has great stuff but for fast fashion the price points make me sad.

H&M, but thats only because there's no topshop arpund here and they don't ship here either!

I've been to Forever 21 and I have to agree with the comment about the store being in disarray. It is really a hot mess in there and it's difficult to find anything (I thought it was just the stores here in NY but maybe it's everywhere). On top of that, I find the quality to be poor. But I do love their accessories - you can spend $3 on a necklace and not feel guilty that you've worn it once and then handed it off to your little niece's. Other than that, I love H&M, Target, Ann Taylor Loft and on a good day Annie Sez.

I voted Topshop but maybe that's just because it's the only one not immediately accessible to me, therefore making it somehow better in my eyes. Haven't been to one since I was in Europe a couple years ago, but it's coming to NYC! ...And hopefully will trickle to CA not long after.

i voted for H&M because that is always my "go-to", but when I lived in London TopShop was my love. Anyone have any idea to whatever happened to them opening up a store in the city?

Zara. H&M is too cheap (quality). I really want to like H&M, but their pieces never quite hit the style mark.

I have none of these stores in my sad little city. We do have a store called Le Chateau however, I think it's a Canadian thing but I buy most of my clothes there and it's fairly trendy. For out of town shopping though, I usually turn to Urban Outfitters

Target, TJ Maxx and Ross are my standbys for affordable clothes. The quality isn't always the best, but for trendy/seasonal pieces, they fit the bill.

The only store listed that we have here is Forever 21. I'd rather die than shop at that tacky store. I wish we had H&M!

I LOVE H&M, but i CAN'T pass by Zara without going in. i order a lot of basics from Topshop. it gets here pretty fast considering where it's coming from. so i love them too.

Sweetfirefly: i feel bad for those who don't have H&M. i think it's a crime . . . forever 21 isn't that bad, unless you're 17 or on a super tight budget. and who wants to shop at a store with a cr*ppy return policy?
|
![]() |
42
I'm a TOPSHOP girl at heart:) I'd pick Zara next and then maybe Forever 21. Too bad we still don't have H&M here. Mango stuff won't fit me so i just buy some of their bags and accessories (ho hum).

Top shop. I love their Boutique collaboration's with High End, edgy, and young designers. Love what they did with Christopher Kane.

I've started to really hate the H&M stuff. Their stores are practically everywhere here in Europe and as a result, everybody's walking around in the same clothes. It's just boring. Mango and Zara on the other hand have H&M price tags but with better quality and better designes. Of these two, I prefer Mango though, Zara is a little too stiff for my taste.

all i have in my town is forever and i really dont like it there. i will grab something random occasionally but i never like try things on and if i end up hating something its my punishment for buying things from there. but i have gotten some good little dresses and tops from there. we have american apparel too but they kinda have the same stuff a lot and i can only wear some of it to work. i wish i had at least moderate access to h&m but there isnt one even in florida at all!

I love and miss H&M but over here in Australia, I have to turn to Valley Girl and Temt to satisfy my cravings.
