She's lost her target audience to Miley Cyrus and hasn't managed to grow her sound with the audience who have outgrown her. Therefore she needs some sort of money making venture.

I loved her 1st & 2nd album however her last album was so preteen-ish and now she's designing juniors clothing? What ever happened to growing up and being more mature? I liked her better pre-2005. Now she is selling out. I mean it's a good offer and who would turn down the money however if you want to be taken seriously, well then it's a bad move. She does look gorgeous in the photo.
