Marisa Miller, Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes, and the rest of Victoria's Secret's finest are oozing sexy for the 2008 VS Swim Collection.

Even better, for the first time ever, Victoria's Secret will be selling swimwear in stores! That means you can ride right on over to your local VS store and try on those delicious suits in person — no more having to wait until your order comes in. From sultry one-pieces to super skimpy two-pieces, the four swim collections — Beach Sexy, Very Sexy, Body by Victoria, and Miracle Bra — offer something for every bod.

powerd2004, I heard that they don't offer everything from the catalog in the stores b/c of licensing issues... maybe someone here who's a fashion insider could explain in greater detail exactly what that means.

I love that retro one piece but I tried to order a month ago and it was backordered until mid-May.

I'll check them out, but I've been obsessed with J.Crew bikinis since high school. I always get my new ones there.

Ooooh!! I hope they have ACTUAL boyshorts in the stores! Not these "boyshorts" where half your butt hangs out if you've got one type that are so bloody prevalent.

Sometimes VS bugs me not only because of the expensive shipping costs, but also because they send a million catalogs! What a waste of paper! But I admit the swimsuits this year are super cute, especially that purple one featured above, and there's also a cute bikini with sailboats on it I saw that's not pictured here.

    Hey guys!

Ok, so here's the skinny on swim in stores. Only about 10% of catalog swimsuit offerings will be available in stores. We've been getting in new ones in bunches, so don't be afraid to check back.

Only about 300 VS Stores are carrying swim this year. It's a test to see if it does well. So far, meh. People are trying on and buying in the catalog anyway. If it does well enough, all stores will carry it next year. While you're there to try on suits, take the new biofit in your dressing room too! (because it's awesome!)

Also, califlygirl, the new PINK organic stuff is right up your alley! Organic totes for taking to the grocery store or anywhere else. And VS is trying to be more earth-friendly. Virgin forests are not cut for paper, and more and more post-consumer recycles paper is making its way into catalogs and packaging. GO VS!!!
