Aww, I don't want skinny jeans to be out.... Flares are really not flattering on me; skinny jeans make me look taller and well, skinnier!

I like skinny jeans. I don't think it really matters. I hate it when style changes and you have to buy this and that...I don't fallow the style anyways. I have my own.

Wait, are they wide leg or flare? I don't wear flares well either, but I like a wide leg, trouser jean. Skinny jeans don't flatter my body type/height, and that's all stores sell anymore. It's nice to know that at least now there will be some choice.

You don't have to give up one for the other guys, skinnys are mos def still in and the wide legs have been around for the last 2 seasons or so too they are now being noticed by magazines I guess. My favorites are Level 99; they make them in both full length and cropped and are reasonably priced.

I'm a 70's gal, too & we had wide, long (high-waisted!) pants back then. They weren't long enough unless you were dragging them on the ground in the back--heh. Much to my mother's dismay.

Yeah, I saw pics of Kate Moss a while back (I think they may have even been from London Fashion Week SS07) in which she was wearing wide legged jeans. I can't tell you how refreshing it was.

I love "bellbottoms" or wide leg flared jeans!! theyre so cute. When you guys say skinny jeans do you mean like straight legged pants? i dont like them at all they dont look good on me at all....these pants are cute and im glad theyre out!!

I agree with mandiesoh - I am short and jeans that flare out at the knee look terrible on me because they make me look shorter.

I thought wide leg jeans were more similar to a pair of trousers, a straight, long line coming from the widest part of the body (for women it's usually our hips). If I am wrong then I prefer straight leg - not necessarily skinny jeans - over flares.

I tried Genetic Denim wide leg jeans at Cusp and they were sooooooooo nice. altho...i still like my fitted jeans better. i'll probably invest in some wide legs tho. they're hot, esp the ones that have been seen on penelope cruz
