I love the shoes Nicole Richie is wearing in Last Saturday's POPSUGAR Paris vs. Nicole post. I had to find out what they were and share with all of you!

Her wooden and pink chain enhanced shoes are called Elika and are made by Jimmy Choo. I guess I should have known!

Elikas are designed with a 25mm platform sole and a 130mm wooden heel. They've got a single strap across the toe with knotted detail, wraparound straps at ankle held by a golden hook fastenings with gold trim and gold studding on the sides. They sell for $450 and are also available in blue and brown. They were available at Net-A-Porter.com, but seem to be out of stock at the moment. I have not been able to find them anywhere else, but if anyone knows where to get them, please share!

I should have know they were Choo's. I'm going to get these and wear on an upcoming date because according to Kylake, Tim could have a shoe fetish, LOL.

I just saw these shoes are $450 I think that's a little much because summer is almost over. I will wait and buy some killer Fendi boots instead.

EP, I'm sure Kate Spade has an affordable albeit mediocre replacement for you New Englanders. I guess it's hard on you guys when you have to buy so much liquor to maintain sanity or have fun.

kate spade = crap quality. you can't wear jimmy choo's on a horse or on a sail boat, ya know. sure, we're alcoholics but that's not the reason. we simply cannot splurge on things that don't fit into the lifestyle. pashmina = great accessory. riding boots = great accessories. polo shirts = essential. jimmy choo shoes, no matter how adorable = decor for closet. i have some trendy shoes. i've only wore them at home while cleaning. something about vacuuming in underpants and heels...

    Crèpes

    1/2 cup flour
    1 egg
    1/4 cup milk
    1/4 cup water
    1 tbs oil

Beat until fluffy and refrigerate for one hour. Pour a small amount into the centre of a skillet and let run to the sides. Cook until one side is browned, then serve.

    (I'm Canuckian, too)

OMG, I actually think that's adorable. I'm a dork, though. There's a rhinestone studded doggie t-shirt that says "Killer" on the back in Old English lettering. I totally want that for my dog, but my husband would die first.

EP, you are right on! I can only spend a fortune if I KNOW I will wear it a ton!!! Boots for sure! Handbags for sure! Jeans for sure!!! But a shoe with a wooden sole is just so uncomfortable! I spend a fortune on Juicy Couture, being a mom and all, I wear them all the time, so, I'm cute w/o being a slob...

LOL, some dogs actually love dressing up. Not my dog, though. I used to put a sweater on him if he had to wait in the car during the winter. (He's a Boston Terrier, so he gets cold easily.) One time, I came out to the car and he had removed the sweater and had it on the seat next to him. I have NO idea how he did that. I never put it on him again, though.

Jen, my mom knitted a sweater for her German shephard when I was little. It was too funny to see that big male dog in a baby blue sweater with a C and a whiffle on it. My mom really emasculated that dog, we're lucky he didn't abandon us.

Jen, I used to laugh so hard at that. My mom treated him like a poodle, but he loved her alot so maybe he didn't mind so much.

at least the cap isn't as ridiculous as doggy bathing suits...like, if dogs don't mind walking around nude all day why would they become bashful when swimming? odd...

I'd prefer investing in a more conservative pair of shoes, that you can wear anytime not only in summer. I'm not just saying that because I hate those, I mean it.
