The ladies really shined last night on the Grammys red carpet adorning gold whenever and wherever possible. Some took the gold accent trend a little too far but others just nailed it. Jennifer Hudson is proving to be quite the red carpet diva this award season and showed that just a few gold touches here and there was the way to go. Natalie Maines on the other hand, you took the gold trend to a whole other level! Less is more sister, and Nelly, that holds true for you too. I loved Scarlett and Ciara's gold embellishments and Mary J. Blige's gold Micheal Kors gown was just stunning. I can't wait to see what trends hit the Oscar red carpet. Stay tuned!

I know Im the only one but I kind of like Nelly's dress- there is just something fun about it
I like Ciaras dress but her hair is a mess. I think a ponytail would have been better with that neckline
