I'm always game for something different, and these shots definitely fit that description.

The Mondrian-inspired background juxtaposed with Valentino's ruffly Spring couture collection, featuring model Alison Nix, is an unexpected surprise, but I think it works. I love the idea of using geometric shapes and primary colors to back such a soft collection.

The ads themselves are a bit too busy for my taste, but I love Valentino. So feminine.

I like the ads. They get your attention with the bold background, then get you to linger looking at the dress. Smart. And the dresses look great.

I don't care much for the dresses, especially the floral ones.

i like these ads. The look like they belong in a 90's edition of vogue.

I thought the ads looked odd at first, but it's actually a good idea..definitely eye-catching! they have this reminiscence about them, like 80s or 90s, but the dresses are definitely of the moment.
