Well, she is a pop star and a cute one at that, so I think she can pull it off. I would not wear them, but they are striking.

Yes, they are definitely some freaky shoes. BUT what I LOVE is that I'm seeing someone wear them in the real world! I feel like I've seen these featured at least twice in every fashion mag I've seen in the past 3 months.

I think the boots are FIERCE! However, I would've paired them with an understated, form-fitting (maybe one-shouldered?) black dress that really put the spotlight on the boots only.

I HATE THOSE SHOES - but Rihanna pulls them off. She has that edgy style that no one else can emulate. The boots actually look good on her because she wore an otherwise simple, subdued outfit, unlike the Jennifer Connelly monstrosity. God, I know you're the spokesperson...but really now. She looked gross.

They just dont go with the outfit.
