Two completely different women though. And Emma Roberts is still a little girl. At least I see a little girl. They both look good in the dress, just in different ways. I'd probably be more concerned if Emma Roberts tried to sex something up to "look like" SJP.

...and I appreciate that Emma is apparently very young and therefore still fashion-challenged, that is fine - and she is adorable (minus the shoes). So her shoes are not her fault - but her stylist should be fired.

I think SJP looks kindof washed out, and tired. Probably not her fault (she doesn't strike me as a party-the-night-before-an-awards-show girl) but it doesn't make for the best pic. Emma is glowing and her hair looks really natural and pretty. Aside from the shoes, Emma looks amazing. SJP looks a bit old here.

I don't want to get hounded for that, so I'll clarify: She doesn't look bad, just not so much the starlet that Emma is. I guess she is more of a star, maybe? I haven't seen any of her work, so I guess I don't have this awe for her that a lot of you seem to. I think this dress is bad for the hair and skintone.

SJP needs to do something with her hair -- leaving it straight just accentuates her, um, bony features. And as for the dresses themselves, they are two different styles: sleeveless for Emma and cap sleeved for SJP. I think they both look fabulous, but cap sleeves don't flatter SJP.

The cap sleeves on SJP's definitely help. Plus, she has the unfair advantage of standing on a BLUE carpet, thus making her dress look like two tones of blue stripes, which aren't as harsh to wear. Emma, OTOH, is on an orange carpet, so her dress actually looks black with blue stripes, which is much harder to work.

Plus the top stripe hits SJP at a better place.

I think it looks better on Sarah. Emma Roberts is too young for that dress in my opinion. Too young in age, and too young in body. She's like only 13 years old!

Emma. She is gorgeous, and the dress is (imo) for younger people. I don't like mature women in sequins.

Well I like the sleeveless style of the dress on Emma better but SJP's shoes better so I said neither.

Emma Roberts is way way way too thin. Even though she looks like she's glowing, it's only because she's had a fake tan or something. Make-up can work wonders on anyone, but you can totally tell that Emma Roberts is not the healthy girl she used to be. She's on the anti-colour diet, I think.

Oh, by the way, I adore the Miu Miu shoes, but she's wearing them two sizes too large! Not trying to be mean, but she needs to put on some weight.

While i think that SJP is pretty she looks like she is trying to be a teen again, the dress looks like a "younger person" dress my advice, age gracefully, enjoy every stage your in!
oh and Emma seriously lose those shoes they are horrendous.

Sarah Jessica Parker pulls this off better, the whole dressing your age shtick is bullcrap,imo! Emma's still a teenager, so she hasn't fully developed into a woman yet. I would save the weight gain comments for until she's at that stage. Besides, she's only famous because her dad's an actor and her aunt's an actress.

It has to be SJP, Emma is too skinny for it unfortunately. It looks terrible.
