not even close. i have a few evening bags (why i have no idea i rarely go out in the evening so don't often need one. but i do like sparkley things). and i have 1 or 2 hand bags at a time. i usually put off buying one as long as possible because i don't feel like i'm good at it. unless i see one i like and find out where that person got their's and get it immediately, i'm lost. going to the store and then looking is overwhelming, like sun glasses, i see waht the people in the displays have on and chose from just those, too many options.

I'll admit to a handbag addiction. I have 4 Louis Vuittons, 1 Burberry, 2 Vintage Chanels, 1 Prada, 2 Diors, 1 Fendi, and 9 Coach (I know, I know... BUT I live right by a Coach outlet!)

I tend to splurge on handbags more than anything else because I think that a good quality handbag that will last me years is worth it. This is also the reason why when shopping for handbags I buy ones that are classics and will last me years... rather than the uber trendy ones... why spend so much on something you'll only use a season or two?

the amount of handbags is about right (6) ..but the $42 thing definitely does not apply to me. for under $150, that's really along the cheap side.

Most of those are right on the money for me.

I would actually definitely pick shoes.

I *had* 40 purses, but my husband made me go through and cull them the last time we moved. So now, I have more like 20.

I have no idea what my purse weighs, but 3 pounds sounds heavy...? I don't know.

I won't spend more than $150 on a purse. But, we're poor - and I like variety.

$42 is just about exactly what I spent on my last purse.

I do have a favorite handbag now, but I still like to match.

My main addiction is shoes, but I'm developing a handbag fetish as well - I just got my first Louis Vuitton and my first Coach within 2 weeks of each other, lol, and I can't stop dreaming about more to add to my collection. My only problem is, when I spend that much on something, I'm hesitant to use it frequently because what if something happens to it? I know, I'm mental.

I'm addicted to Balenciaga purses. They are gorgeous and I must have them all. I also have a Fendi boot obsession but I can only afford the one's on Ebay until I become a surgeon

I have about 6 purses and they weigh prolly more then 3 lbs. But everything else ahaha no not me. Thats alot for those bids to WOW!

I have 3 addictions! Shoes, Bags and Lingerie in that order. I have about 100 bags. From Bottega Veneta to Prada. And yes Coach, which I consider my work horse bags. I troll Neiman's [final call] to Filene's for them. My average price paid is $500.00. But honestly I have paid 3 times that. If I could splurge on one designer item it too would be a bag. I already splurge on shoes. If I love them I buy them! But alas a "Crocodile Birkin" is the holy grail. I'm on the wait list at Hermes here in Chicago for a $7,000 one. That's fine with me, I'm saving to pay cash for it.

Shoes, Bags and Lingerie are the reasons I happily go to work everyday!!!
