On Our Radar: See MK & Ashley's 'The Row' Collection!

We finally have a sneak peek at Mary Kate and Ashley's most recent creations for their fashion line, The Row. Named after Savile Row, a corner in Central London famous for its top-notch tailored suits, their line has been pretty hush hush since its launch last Fall. I actually went to Barneys in Manhattan a couple of months ago to purchase a piece or two, but the only thing left was one simple black tank dress and it was crazily overpriced. Those clothes are selling like hotcakes!

Not surprisingly, The Row's latest collection is mainly filled with blacks and some fur; basically things the two petite twins would sport on a day-to-day basis. No word yet on when this collection will hit and in which stores, but my assumption is Fall and at Barneys.

i like it. it's simple yet fashionable, stylish... chic. i think it’s supposed to be simple yet marketable for high end customers. i mean, from what i read it’s going to be sold in barneys. it’s more about how it’s tailored. it’s called THE ROW after Saville Row in london. the place is famous for having the world’s best tailoring. i would wear it.

I think its going to be a buttload of money for clothing that doesn't get noticed. I'll pass.

It's too simple! There are other designers out there that have been around much longer that are doing these similar styles and/or colors. I don't think that there's much life into these.

Are you kidding? The two choices on the post are hidious and the model looks terrible but the other images listed on here aren't nearly as bad, some of the designs are cute but nothing ground-breaking.

I think that's what's good about it, though...if you're gonna invest some money in a sleek, subdued piece, it might as well be something that will be stylish for long than one season.

That being said, some people would rather invest in something more colorful and funky.

wow..not bad. I was thinking it would consist of oversized fur coats, bags with a holder for a venti Starbucks cup or two, and fugly ankle books!!

That model looks near death. I just do NOT understand why the fashion industry insists on using severely underweight, pre-pubescent-looking women. It totally turns me off to the clothes. I think they'd look much better on a woman who is filled out and actually a chest and booty. geez.

i like the chic black v-neck dress. it's simple, alot like ashley's clothes, but still stylish. i remember seeing a picture of ashley wearing a plaid green jacket from her line and it was adorable. i have a feeling their clothing line will get better and better with time.

Oh, so that's what the twins are up to now - I'm curious to see if the line will actually sell. I like the black v-neck dress.

My only question is how much they paid the real designers to sell their souls and work for them. Every starlet with a bankroll thinks she can be a designer. I'd like to see one of them try to get an actual degree in fashion design. Just because you wear clothes doesn't make you a trained professional in creating them.

Presentation helps to sell, I find that these types of models turn alot of people off. None of these pics do any justice to this line.

i think it's safe to say that none of these looks would really work on anyone unless they were dangerously underweight.
