Who ever thought fishbones could be sexy? Giuseppe Zanotti, that's who. Check out these Giuseppe Zanotti Fishbone Sandals ($995). Kim Cattrall wore these in the Sex and the City movie, and I can see why. The sharp jeweled bones are quite sexy. Talk to me people. Are these heels finger-lickin' good?

If I'm going to be able to own a $1000 pair of shoes, they will not have fish skeletons on them. They also look pointy/pokey/jabby...like serious potential for cuts, blisters, and the like.

I don't like it. It's a bit boring. This style has been done to death. I like a more unique type of heel. The fish bone is a nice idea but when you use such a boring typical heel.. whats the point?

Flickster, I'm talking about the shoe style. The fish bone is fine. I feel like the shoe is a simple heel with straps.. I've seen it so often before. It's a bit boring in my opinion. I think it would have been better if they had used a different type of style. Something to make it a show stopper. That's all. This is only my opinion.

I think that if the heel was at all complicated, it would detract from the fishbone detail, which is the main focal point of the shoe. Anything more, and it would belong on a runway-beautiful and innovative and completely unique, but not at all suitable for wear by a normal person (well, as normal a a person can be buying 1000 dollar sandals with fishbones on them).

*coos* I really like these! I have a friend who has a fish tattoo on her foot, and while I'm still on the fence about inking myself, these would be a cute (and uber sparkly) alternative.

I knew they looked familiar! Laughing out loud I remember going wtf when I saw them in the movie..

I hate it; it's painful just to look at but I do give major props to such a unique, adventurous shoe!

I love the fishbone detail--it's so cool. But I must agree with RoyalBlueMoss that the rest of the shoe is pretty boring. It doesn't have to be anything crazy, but without the fishbone, the heel looks like one you could pick up at the swapmeet for $20 bucks.

Edie J Blige--why would PETA care about these?

I remember seeing these on SITC and thinking they were wicked cool! Not something I'd wear myself though.
