they just look SOOOOOOOO cozyyyy and it's SOOOOOOOOO cold over here!

They remind me of UGGs. UGGs look nice when they are new but when they get old they sag to the side, so it looks funny when you walk in them.

if you and/or your friend loves cozy boots but hates fringe as much as much as I do, Steve Madden had a much cuter and cheaper alternative:

unfortunately, they only have them in black I have the brown ones, though, which I bought last year at Nordstrom and they are so cute and comfy!
