Get ready bargain bag seekers...posh handbag designer Devi Kroell has a handbag collection headed straight for Target. Ranging in prices from $20-$50, the collection will be released on July 15, alongside the spunky Libertine collection. Her bags are sleek, streamlined and cheap! Well, cheap compared to the prices of her self-titled collection (upwards of $200 for the tiniest clutch). I've got eyes for that bronze tote - step off!

So far, I am un-enthused about these bags. If they're all like this, the reason they are so affordable is because they're ugly and cheap looking.

Target has done a pretty good job getting high-end designers to create affordable lines for "the masses," but sometimes I think they don't deliver. I don't know if I set my expectations too high and then get disappointed, or if they really do fall short...

I can't wait to get one of these bags. Beware though, I got the Proenza Schouler for Target beach bag and it totally broke the first time I carried it! Boo! I had to return it.
