Yes, I do so agree those pockets are a spoiler, and the fact that they are so bulky would definitely make us look larger then we actually are . If your TALL and very SLIM maybe just maybe it may look alright, JUST ALRIGHT.

I agree that the pockets are a little too chunky for such a frock, but I'm a sucker for dresses with pockets anyway (especially pockets that fit more than a credit card). I think paired with a cardie it'll be cute!!

Hey you know what? Actually pockets can be quite useful, like maybe transporting your tiny puppy, kitty, or baby kangaroo pet around with you, LOL. And if that is not appealing, it can be functional as an attached purse , but we all know there will be those to use them as hand warmers.

I love the way so many dresses come with pockets now but these look like they belong on an overcoat or an apron. They're terrible and they don't belong on this dress so i hate it.

I have to agree, those pockets detract from the look of the dress, which makes me a little undecided. Then again it might look nice if you tried it on.

I think the dress might be cuter without the pockets, but I still love it. I think the pockets make it seem more casual, like it could be worn with nicer sandals, or just some regular old flip flops, and still look ok.

I would love the dress so much more if it didn't have the pockets, then it could be a beautiful prom dress it still looks nice now but not as much as before...

I love this dress, it reminds me of dresses my mom and aunts used to wear....lovely and delicate. True, the pockets could be a little smaller, but I do love dresses with pockets...

I like dresses with pockets, but they should be slits, not enormous bags that make a girl look twice her size. However, it does make the dress a lot more casual and and it is original at least.

FabSugar I agree about being on the fence on this one. When I saw the headline I was like Yeah of course I'm going to like it's Vera Wang. Love everything she does, but when I saw the picture I was disappointed by the pockets. Their just too heavy for this lovely dress.

I love everything but the pockets. They look like they should be on some senior citizens oversized housecoat.

luv the dress but the pockets took over...they have got to go! maybe if the pockets were designed to be inside (kinda like jen hudson's dress at the academy awards) then maybe it wouldn't look soo bad.
