This is the first time I have seen Pete look somewhat attractive. It is an awesome idea for the ads though.

Personal mishaps aside, I like how this campaign is shaping up. Cavalli never had much credibility to begin with but this is a very interesting step for their branding/marketing.

oh I agree with you all, I think they are both huge screw ups. But as far as an advertisment goes, if you didn't know who he was, he doesn't look like the usual mess that he does.

Good idea photographing couples but for different ad. campaigns separately but I hate Kate and Pete their not good role models for children...

I'm joining those who find Pete quite a good model for these Cavalli ads. There is indeed a James Dean feeling all over the black&white campaign.
When trying not to judge the personnalities of these two, one must admit that they did a good job. No matter how much (or not) Photoshop was used : these are good pictures.

the advertisement itself is fantastic but i despise the people in it more and dont want to see them in ads.

Models are not role models for me so really I could care less about who they are. The fact remains that these are two very good photos - as a designer said once models are like clothes hangers. I think image wise, they do a good job at peddling those clothes.

I actually prefer Pete's to Kate's.

I don't understand how his picture can be conceived as good or hot, when he is hiding most of his face. I would have to see more images before I decided on whether or not he truly looks good in the campaign.

love Peter Doherty & Kate Moss... in spite of all their scandalous life (guess all the ones that call them junkies or trash have no stone to throw) I think they already are the pop icon couple of a generation. Romance at its best. And Pete Doherty has that Brando air that makes him more interesting. Kate as usual, so sexy!!!

People who are saying that they've lost respect for Cavalli for using Kate - don't you remember that her first major photoshoot after she got out of rehab was the Cavalli campaign? That one of her looking bronzed against the tree was her comeback photo.

Also - models aren't there to be role models. They are just there to wear clothes and look good. And anyway, Pete is supposedly in recovery so is it really fair to keep calling him a junkie?

the photos are great! i love kate!!! i think it's great pete is part of this because i'm tired of seeing look-a-like male models with no personalities (i'm not complaining of thier bodies though ) all the time! sometimes it's more interesting if it's a rocker or actresses. they put their own persona into it and the picture comes out more interesting...

Those who keep calling Peter a 'junkie' have no respect at all. He has a serious addiction which he's currently battling; being rude about something you don't understand makes you look childish and ignorant.
That aside, I think these ads are beautiful. Peter is beautiful, and I'm glad these pictures finally reveal that(yes, probably photoshoped and edited...but everything is).

I wish that David and Victoria Beckham would do ad campaigns together... they're absolutely beautiful people... even though Pete Doherty isn't that attractive, he does have that bad-boy sexy rockstar thing going for him... even though I've never heard any of his music... lol
