Fab Flash: Kate No Longer the Agent Provocateur Postergirl

Kate has been the face of Agent Provocateur for almost a year now, and posed for multiple picture campaigns and four promotional videos, but her contract will not be renewed when it expires in August, AP co-owner Serena Rees has confirmed. Personal issues reportedly soured the relationship, as Rees is said to have had an affair with The Clash bassist Paul Simonon - the husband of one of Moss' close friends.

Kate's replacement has already been chosen, but all Rees will reveal about her is that "She's quite different. She's not sexy in an overt way." Meanwhile, speculation is growing that Gavin Rossdale's daughter Daisy Lowe is the unnamed replacement...

I thought that Agent Prov. was owned by a husband and wife team. Hmmmm.... Well, that's a shame about no more Kate. She was really sexy in their ads. Oh well. I hope that it isn't Gavin's daughter though. Agent Prov. is a mature brand and the last thing that I want to see is a 16 year old in their lingerie.

It's owned by a man and a woman (Serena), but not a husband and wife - the man, Joseph Corre, is actually designer Vivienne Westwood's son, though! Smiling

For all her faults, I admire Kate for dropping a lucrative deal based on principal (and friendship). That's A+ in my book!

Kate did look good in their ads! I also hope they have a woman, and not a teenager, represent them. Kate may be skinny, but she definitely looks like a woman nowadays.

Ughhh - one less ad campaign to see Kate Moss in makes the world better.I just don't see what the fuss is about that girl.

I used to not like Kate at all, but she has really grew on me despite all of the "not good" things she has done. She looks smokin in this pic!

I loved Kate in AP... I agree with Sarah up above, I'd rather not see a 16-18 year old pushing AP but oh well. I'll still love them!

Subtly sexy is definitely the right term. Daisy is pretty plain looking. She hasn't got the attention grabbing looks/body that AP models normally have (or press attention in Kate's case).

Ughh, Daisy's awful. She's only a model because of her famous parents, she's nothing special.

argh ! i can't cope. Daisy was in the year below me at school and I find it so weird, but also it makes me feel like I'm past it that people younger than me, who I know, are now so successful. Dammit!
