Gisele also put her name on tons of brands, labels in Brazil (I'm from there -- everything from flip flops to bikinis) and I'm guessing she gets TONS from the companies that manufacture them so that she enorses the products as her own.

citytropic is right....Gisele markets herself more than most on the list. Though, I'm surprised Heidi Klum doesn't come closer to her. Gisele will make less next year because she didn't renew her VS contract. I like her, but I didn't like her for VS, much prefer Adriana or Selita Banks. For some reason I like all these models better than the actresses we have to look at every day. I say bring models back to the magazine covers; all of these girls are beautiful.

....Shalom Harlowe?!?!?! WTF?!?!? She's still around. To me, that was the WORST time for models, when Shalom, Amber Valetta and hideous Stella Tenent were top models. The current VS girls make them look like trash.

Some of them don't earn as much as I thought, but I'm slightly surprised that Gisele is number one. I adore Gisele though and am really happy for her.

Love Jessica Stam so I'm suprised she came in last. Although 1.5 million is nothing to laugh at; I'd take that paycheck any day!haha. Glad to see Hilary Rhoda doing well; she reminds me of Brook Shields w/ the strong features. Interesting list.

Gisele makes $33mil a year for many reasons. Here are just a few...magazine covers, billboards, she has her own shoe line, movie deals, her contract with VS, fashion shows and last but certainly not least a runway model.

I knew it was going to be Giselle on top. I mean come on, she was a model for victoria's secret, vogue eyewear, and I think dior timepieces as well. Then she has the whole movie career going on. To top all of that off, she has her own shoe line in her native country of Brazil, and its the top selling shoe in the country. She is busy!

Way to go girls. I'm happy for all the girls. Strong independent women earning big money I'm all for that. The last stat I read said women make something like 75 cents for every dollar a man make for doing the same job. Not so in modeling. In that field the women have the advantage. I say more power to them.

btw I love Gisele. I read she's a workhorse and she juggles 20 ad campaigns. Her agent must love her.

Kate has had SO many covers, campaigns and ads in the past year. She's been in ads for Burberry, Versace, Cavalli, Longchamp, Rimmel, Dior etc. as well as non-fashion brands like Nikon and Virgin mobiles, plus her Topshop deal, surely it would add up to more than 9 mil.

WOW...$33 million, hmmmm. I will never understand these outrageous salaries. My favorite on this list is Liya Kebebe, I think she is absolutely beautiful. I also love Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, although that's a terrible picture.
