Hot on the heels of handbag designers Devi Kroell and Rafe New York, Jessie Randall of Loeffler Randall has been tapped as the next designer to create an accessories line for Target!

The collection will debut in early 2008, and judging from Randall's CFDA-winning past designs, I expect fabulous bags with wallet-friendly prices to come out of this!

That is great news! I have found some really great bags at Target lately and sounds like they are only going to get better. I will have to get a new closet for all of my handbags.

Ooh, I hope they do some shoes as well. I've been lusting after a pair of L-R boots for months now.

Is the fact that its designer override the fact that it's from Target?

I mean, I love Target. I'm not knocking it, but I'm just wondering if the quality is the same? People say that they are paying for quality when they shell out major bucks for designer frocks and handbags, but if it's still inexpensive and at Target.. what are you buying?

the quality may not be the same as the high priced bags..but i'm sure they are still decent..especially for those who dont want to spend some crazy amount on a purse

The quality is definitely not the same, I mean obviously they are not made out of premium soft Italian leather hides or with the best wool and egyptian cotton. You are getting something that is thought out by a designer and all you have to do is look closely at it to make sure you think it looks good to you- it's fabulous!
The clothes won't last forever but you look a lot closer to a million bucks than you do wearing cheap non-designer made duds. There are details and thought put into them.
