Fab Flash: Chloe Sevigny Actress and Designer?

Actress Chloe Sevigny is trying her hand at designing but it's not surprising given her fashion-forward nature. The actress is currently helping Opening Ceremony store founder, Humberto Leon, come out with its first namesake collection. The debut is set to take place at New York Fashion Week on September 10.

Although there's no word on what the collection consists of, if Chloe has anything to do with it, it'll most likely be unique and quirky. Cross your fingers that I get to see the final result in the Big Apple!

I love her. First, she's a great actress. Second, she goes against the flow. It's so refreshing to have an actress that doesn't care about the "trends in hollywood" and carves her own path. I don't always "agree" with what she wears, but I give her props for holding her own. I'll definitely check out what she designs. Keep us posted!

her design sense is amazing and cutting edge sometimes but I don't know if I like her character, maybe its all the vilian type roles she had...not that I have to like a celebrity character..

Okay, she's very edgy and artistic so that will be great, but PLEASE no more actress designers!

What's funny is Chloe is the only actress/designer of the bunch that have produced lines lately that I would even look at. She is so creative and funky, even if her looks are sometimes out there. I like that she's not afraid to try.

The only reason I knew of Chloe was from fashion magazines, and I've only seen her in boys don't cry, but I love her style and can't wait to see her line.

Chole is the bomb. She's a great actress and I'll be she be an even better desinger. Remember her as the girl that gets raped at the end of KIDS. That 90's movie about sexually active teenagers. It was Rosario Dawson's first movie too. They have both come along way!

I hate to be the lone voice of dissent, but I've never understood why she was considered to be a fashion icon. Granted, she looks really nice in the above picture, but my general thought is "trainwreck."

tlsgirl, you're not alone and I even went to a fashion design school... I love cutting edge, & funky but to me, she always looks disheveled and unattractive. Sad

tlsgirl and supergurl, I think it's because she is not one of those classic beauties. She has a very unique look. Some may say unnatractive but it works in her own way I guess. She's kind of hit or miss for me in terms of fashion. She looks very nice in the above picture though. As far as her acting, I've only seen her in American Psycho and Zodiac and she was great in both.

I personally dont think she is stylish. I look at her and think *vincent gallo blow job*. Not a classy lady.

Wow, this seems like such a natural progression for her. Makes me wonder why she hasn't done this years ago.
