As you know, we are counting down the days until "Project Runway" Season Four debuts. Come November, we will be in pure fashion designer competition bliss — perfect to curl up and catch a marathon on a stormy Saturday, while taking breaks to do some gift shopping online. I painted a nice picture huh? Anyway, the new breed has been released and here is the first group photo. You have our favorite judges — Heidi, Nina and Michael — and of course, the mentor with the most soothing voice, Tim Gunn. And just look at the colorful bunch! This is fashion fun just waiting to happen.
I went ahead and judged these aspiring designers by their covers and here are my three picks, purely based on personal style. On the left there's the pretty girl, Jillian, who hails from Long Island and is a Parsons alum (nice). In the center is stud muffin Rami, who lists Alexander McQueen as a favorite designer and claims a hot pair of leather boots is a fashion must, fierce. On the right is the lovely Victorya, who spells her name cool and already claims polished with an edge according to this outfit.
