London-based Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto have been tapped as the new designers for Cacharel. The couple has collaborated on the Eley Kishimoto line, well-known for its colorful graphic prints, since the mid-90s. In the past, they have contributed their talent for print designs and fabric development to Alexander McQueen and Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton.

After Eley and Kishimoto move to Paris, their first collection for the French contemporary sportswear line, which was founded in 1962 and is also known for its print-driven pieces, will be for Fall 2008. Looking forward to it!

    "A sweet young girl
Dressed to the nines in Cacharel
Oh under the weather her heels click together
    And following her is hell"

    I like this.

What is that quote from, bellanatella?

Hopefully this means some Cacharel runway shows??? I've definitely been yearning for some.
Thanks for the update, Fab. It's nice to know what's going on with the brand.
