Trend Alert: Seeing Leopard Spots

Wearing a leopard print is a bold gesture — see Edie Sedgwick — but sometimes that's the intention. I love that we've been seeing leopard spots on the backs of celebs and on the runway; Valentino sure knows how to create a spotted masterpiece (middle). Does a leopard print coat stir up your animal instincts?

Takes a lot of confidence. I remember I used to have a leopard print piece or two and was able to pull them off then, so why not?

I'm not a huge animal print fan unless it's really understated and on small pieces.

I'm with aimeeb on this one. Animal prints can be exciting, but a whole jacket? I would prefer a more subtle look.

I simply don't care for animal prints. It has nothing to do with confidence as I wear outfits that are definitely out of the ordinary. To me, they just always look at least slightly tacky and vulgar. Occasionally I'll see a girl wearing a leopard cardian or a pair of zebra flats in a tasteful way and I think, well she seems to pull that off rater well. But i'd never ever wear them myself. Not even in a small dose. I will never wear something that's not my style just to be on top of the trends.

I don't have a problem with leopard print as long as it's not too loud. I'd save it for an accessory or as a spicy nightie.

I love leopard prints. I have 5 pairs of pony hair shoes,2 belts, 3 jackets, 2 coats, 2 scaves, 5 pony hair bags.. all in leopard print.
I just would wear them all together. That would be tacky.

wasn't the leopard print trend around 10 years ago? it's a decade but it feels too early to bring it back yet.
