What a lovely little lady Hayden Panettiere has become! While most other stars showed up to Z100's Annual Jingle Ball in casual gear, the petite actress stepped it up a notch in a dramatic white ruffle blouse and black pencil skirt. Some may say she's a tad overdressed for the occasion, but I say more power to her. . . . this is how fashionistas ought to differentiate themselves from the masses.

I think she looks lovely. She really knows her body and she has fun with her clothes but manages to look tasteful. I'm not much older than she is and I think it's better to be a little sexy, a little whimsical, and to take some chances with real fashion than to traipse around in cheap minis or layer on the latest five minute trends like so many starlets we know.
