Love From Australia Suede Over-the-Knee Boot: Love It or Hate It?

UGG boots are bulky enough with all that thick shearling, but when you add ribbons and more height, it's just too much. I can't see myself, or anyone else for that matter, pulling off Love From Australia's Vixen Suede Over-the-Knee Boot ($400). In Antarctica they might come in handy, but I'd choose cold over tacky any day. Are you with me?

I didn't think it was possible for Uggs to get any worse. Cold weather hooker gear, perhaps?

I kinda like em. With some tights and a long sweater? It could be cute I think. But, I'm a sucker for any over the knee boots.

The only times I wear flats is when I'm wearing sneakers for running and when I wear ballet shoes. I wouldn't ever be caught dead in flat boots.

Ugly. Agreed that they look too much like Uggs (and that's no compliment).

I like the idea of them being over the knee with leggings but I don't llike the ribbons. Undecided.

I don't have a problem with them, but I also don't have a problem with regular Uggs, as long as they aren't worn with skirts. Those days have passed!

I still wear mine to get a morning Starbucks or if I'm running errands at night.

I think they look kinda cute in their own way. I mean if you are4 going to somewhere cold ... would you rather wear Uggs or some thicker, tackier boots?

i love how warm and comfy UGGs are in cold weather; however i can't imagine how attractive it would be putting these boots on and taking them off!

This are really not cute, they seem like they would be way too bulky. When I think of over the knee boots I think of high heels and black shiny leather.

I want some tall-ish, warm boots. But these ain't the ones. Sorry, Ugg-ish boots make everybody look like they have duck flippers for feet.

I definitely don't go for the ribbons. I also prefer leather boots, so I'm definitely biased.

ok, i would never pay the $400 for them...but i have to say that i don't think they are that bad. obviously uggs are always going to be on the ugly side. but they really do keep your feet warm..and i really like not having to wear socks with them. so i say, these can be really great for one of those freezing, snowy, wind chill below zero days. id rather wear these tall uggs, and wear a shorter coat, than regular uggs and my loonnng crazy coat. (it just looks cuter).

but they could be a pain to get on and off...

I'm so tired of UGGS and, even though I love over-the-knee boots, these are just awful...

Apparently everyone commenting has never lived in consistent below zero weather! I would LOVE these! Living in the city, walking everywhere, wearing 2 scarfs, hat, earmuffs, hand and feet pack warmers, and knit legwramers over your jeans that go into your boots so you dont get frost bite on your way to work, those boots look pretty amazing to me! I would love to have boots that go under my coat to keep me insulated! Thats what Uggs and these boots are made for keeping girls who live in the cold warm and from losing toes! Theyre not to be worn with skirts and dresses in California or somewhere warm, that has and always will be tacky!
