Celebrity Style: Eva Mendes

Eva Mendes, the newest celebrity face for PETA, showed up at LA's Robertson Blvd. to unveil her "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" billboard. She looked comfy yet stylish in a red Stella McCartney dress, over-the-knee boots, and a black conductor cap. And like a good spokeswoman, there was no fur in sight!

I like the and pockets on the dress, but good lord, it makes her look hugely pregnant! Why is she hiding her curves? No need for that, Eve!

What! She's notorious for wearing fur & leather. Plus, she's wearing leather in the photo... this is so stupid. Not to mention how unflattering the dress is on her.

.... can we just talk about those leather boots?

"Like a good spokesperson, she is completely ignoring the overall messaging and focusing on the literal 'no fur' emphasis!"

It all comes from animals, Eva.

Also, really quick, what's with her hair in the ad?

Seriously, who wears leather to a PETA function? She should be wearing Stella McCartney boots & carrying a Stella McCartney bag instead of wearing one of Stella's unflattering items of clothing.

She is so a hypocrite. Why in the world does she have on leather boots and purse? Was an animal not harmed for those two items and the millions of other leather items she own!?!

What is also ironic is the fact that the most high-profile picture of Eva Mendes is the one where she is wearing an updo and a striking, fur-laden J. Mendel dress.

I agree. The dress is very unflattering and the tall boots don't go with the baggyness of dress. And the hat is too muchhh! I always wonder about these celebs and these PETA ads...

These PETA ads are really just publicity stunts for the celebs...it doesn't do anything for the cause. I'm wondering how many of these celebs actually adhere to the slogan they're promoting...

LOVE Stella McCartney, and also love this dress. Its stylish & it looks comfortable. I agree that it doesnt really accentuate her curves, but over all the outfit is really feminine. Its fabulous Smiling
