Aéropostale, known for its relaxed and inexpensive jeans, is having a Teens For Jeans drive, which aids homelessness. Between Jan. 22 and Feb. 10, donate any of your gently worn jeans, and the company will give you 20 percent off a brand new pair. What's more, they will donate 10,000 pairs of jeans to homeless teens. Find a location nearest you.

Best of all? Watch adorable Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen talk and giggle about the campaign. Second best of all, soon you'll be able to bid on celebrity jeans! So dig through your denim drawer and donate to a worthy cause.

love this campaign even though i hate this store. i know marshall field's used to the same thing. it's a great way to get rid of the old jeans and give them to a good cause!

yeah, i love the idea. too bad that i don't have more than three pair of jeans.....
but if i did have jeans that i didn't wear or didn't have holes in them (i have one other pair with holes and is covered in paint for project wearing)
    it id a great idea.

I don't like this idea or the store. It looks more to me as a marketing scheme aimed for sales more then helping the homeless and mis-using being "green". It's aimed for you to buy NEW jeans...jeans that are not organic and probably imported far away. So if you're going to participate, just know it's not "totally green".

That sounds good to me, I have at least 2 old pairs of jeans that just don't fit anymore-- they're in good condition otherwise. Many other companies have similar promotions, I believe either Macy's or Bloomingdale's was having a bring-your-winter-coat-get-10% off-a-new-one promotion back in November. And although Aeropostale's motives may not be purely altruistic, it will still go to a good cause, instead of taking up space and acting as a dust magnet in my closet.

I'd have to agree with iamawesomeness on this one. Aero isn't my fav store, but I do think their jeans fit really well for my body shape. I always seem to find a great pair when I actually shop there, so I'll have to hit it up before Feb. 10 and bring in an old pair of jeans. Sounds good to me.

I agree with I am awesomeness. I've got to say though I don't understand why everyone hates this store...can someone please explain? I neither love it or hate it.

Great idea, but since I don't like their jeans, maybe I'll grab my younger cousins before I go to the mall and have them reap the benefit?

This is for aznballer04. I donated to Aeropostale and I didn't get the impression at all that it was a marketing scheme. They gave me the 20% off coupon as a thank you, and I had the option to use it whether or not I wanted to. You should try to see the good in such a good cause, instead of trying to take away from it with your own opinions of what it is really about.
