Any woman will tell you the
LBD is a critical wardrobe piece for work and play. You don't have to let go of your favorite always fashionable crutch just because your belly is growing and you're not-so-lil any more — plenty of designers have pretty and chic maternity LBDs.
One of my favorites right now is the
abs one shoulder dress (on sale for $150) because it has the same feel of the flowing
Maxi dresses Gwen Stefani and Angelina Jolie wore while pregnant with their now infants.

Pregnant ladies are in luck because the
maxi dress is in style this season. Keeping the figure a secret, new moms and expectant ladies have been spotted sporting the garbs alike. See if you can guess which hot mamas are behind the flowy frocks.

The maxi has proven to be a favorite Summer dress, especially amongst the starlets. But there are so many fabulous styles to choose from. Dip dyed maxis are both comfortable and unique.

Yesterday
Lily Allen was out and about in London showing off her latest hair colour and visiting friends. She matched her new darker hair with a black maxi dress but added shots of colour with bright accessories and white pumps. Lily is rarely seen without her bright coloured Ray Ban wayfarers these days (as spotted on her head at
Glastonbury and
the supermarket!) and why would she be when they're one of Summer's hottest accessories.

Kate Hudson
introduced her new man to her mom Goldie during a casual afternoon lunch in Santa Monica. The actress also showed off her love of flowy dresses by wearing a teal halter maxi by T-Bags and accessorizing with Giuseppe Zanotti buckle sandals and an ostrich bag. Seeing as Santa Monica is an urban beach community, this comfy-cum-cute ensemble is quite appropriate.

There's nothing better than a double dose of sale incentives. Right now, Neiman Marcus is offering free shipping on all purchases and up to
35 percent off select designer duds. This paisley print
Milly Double Ring Dress ($294, originally $420) would be perfect for a sunny LA pool party.
Nui designs was conceived from the designer's notion that, "Clothes should not be torturing. You should feel pretty now and work on your body later." Precursor to the popular maxi-dress, Nui's designs takes on a relaxed, yet body flattering fit that complements a woman's figure; no matter what size you are.

Wearing a maxi dress is a statement saying, it is now Summer! They're a great wardrobe staple because it's a no brainer outfit, just put it on with a pair of sandals and you're done! You don't have to spend ages trying to co-ordinate your entire outfit like you do in the winter.

A case of starlet versus stylist. Rachel Zoe donned this Jenni Kayne dress back in October for the designer's LA store opening, while Kristen chose it for
the premiere of Forgetting Sarah Marshall; she wore it a good while later, I might say. It seems the prints are inversed, with Rachel's showing more white and Kristen's more of that stunning electric blue.

At long last — after all of the
notice-me advertising —
Forgetting Sarah Marshall is finally here. Kristen Bell went all out in an appropriately tropical look for the Hawaii—set movie, choosing a Jenni Kayne printed
maxi dress in an extra fresh cobalt blue and white palette. What really makes this special is the abundance of chunky gold accessories.
