Last night the fourth season of
The Hills started on MTV. Feels like we have had to wait forever for this season in the UK so it was very exciting to see them return. The season started with a bang as tensions rose between Audrina and Lo leaving Lauren in an awkward position.

This week, fast food chain
Sonic Drive-In released the first of a
new series of ads that mimic MTV's
The Hills. "The Stalls," as the advertising miniseries is called, begins by featuring the classic Sonic duo Pete and T.J. in a car at Sonic.

Whitney Port has packed her bags and headed East to film
her own reality show. Since she'll be working for the divine Diane von Furstenberg, it only makes sense that she's already started wearing the designer's goods. While out and about in SoHo, she carried the
Diane von Furstenberg briefcase clutch you all were torn over.
The Hills Food Quiz: Episode Eight, "Don't Act Innocent..." This week on The Hills, family relations grow tense when Heidi gets a surprise visit from her mom — but she hasn't told her parents she's moved in with Spencer. And although she's tried to keep it hush-hush, Stephanie finds herself confronted from all sides about her relationship with Doug.
The Hills Beauty Quiz: Episode Eight, "Don't Act Innocent..." In this episode of The Hills, it's the men that are causing all of the fuss. All male induced drama aside, how closely were you watching the hairstyle, nail polish, and makeup choices during this episode?

Last night's episode of
The Hills had everyone trying to act all innocent. Well, namely Stephanie and Doug (and Spencer!). From what Stephanie was telling Lauren, she didn't want to have anything to do with Doug, but her actions said otherwise.

Sunday sees the start of two American shows I'm really excited about: season four of
The Hills and brand new series
Fringe. Tune in to The Hills on
MTV One at 8pm and find out what LA's glamorous gals and guys have been up to: Heidi's back with Spencer and entertaining her sister Holly, while Lauren's organising Audrina's birthday party with Lo before accepting a date with Doug from back in the Laguna Beach day.
At 9pm switch to
Sky One for the bumper opening episode of JJ Abrams' Fringe, which is literally explosive.

In this episode of
The Hills, it's the men that are causing all of the fuss. Heidi and Holly's mom arrives for an unexpected visit, and Spencer's attitude doesn't exactly make the best of impressions. In the meantime, Doug and Stephanie continue with their taboo relationship, but in the end, he covers his tracks by lying about their union.

You could have cut the tension with a knife last night on
The Hills when Heidi's mom made a surprise appearance for her daughter's birthday. Apparently she was unaware that Spencer had moved back in and was disappointed, to say the least, to have been kept in the dark. Although Heidi's mom's distress was mostly due to her daughter's dysfunctional relationship, I know not all parents are accepting of their kids cohabitating with their significant others before marriage.
