Three years ago Tom Ford formed the production company Fade to Black and today he finally stopped us guessing what his first move might be. Plans were
recently unveiled for Ford's directorial debut for a movie titled, A Single Man. The movie is based on the book of the same name by
Christopher Isherwood.

This weekend Hadley Freeman was lucky enough to catch up with Tom Ford for
The Guardian magazine. She interviewed him about the great expense of his menswear line, his plans to design for Daniel Craig for the latest Bond movie and his time at Gucci.
He was introduced to Daniel Craig through a shared friend (Sam Taylor-Wood). Explaining why he wanted to dress Bond he said, "A lot of people think if you wear classic clothes you're dull.

With the breathtaking Erykah Badu in the ads (which
you loved) and a devastatingly chic white opal glass bottle with 23K gold accents,
Tom Ford White Patchouli ($92) certainly has the bells and whistles that make up a cult classic. But as it turns out, I would still wear this fragrance if it came in a plastic spray bottle sold on the street.
White Patchouli is characterized as a "floral-infused wood fragrance," so the patchouli is surrounded by notes of peony, rose, and jasmine.

Tom Ford has a mouth fetish. After
his Spring ads were banned in Italy, why is Liliana Dominguez (love her) gnashing on a
fat piece of chicken in the Fall '08 eyewear campaign? Maybe she was hungry.

Kate Moss and her crew — daughter Lila Grace and boyfriend Jamie — loaded up the car and headed to who knows where. The important thing is that Kate looked snazzy in a tweed blazer, navy jeans, and moccasin boots. Of course, she didn't leave home without her
macho watch and white Hermes Birkin.

I've been looking for good examples of transitional outfits, and leave it to Charlize to give us one. If you still want to show off your tan gams come Fall, layers are the answer. This look manages to be both cozy and collected.

Sienna is one tough cookie. The media magnet was
spotted in LA, near her controversial man mind you, looking fresh and youthful in skinny jeans, a hippie top, and a lust-worthy leather tooled bag. I like how she proves the vintage look is still strong.
Arianne Phillips, the brain behind the seams of Madonna's costumes is at it again. With the singer's upcoming Sticky and Sweet tour, launching Aug. 23, the costume designer is hard at work putting together a fashion masterpiece.

It's been a while since we
Celebrity Styled Jennifer and she looks great! Her carefree, polished look was exhibited
while shopping at Barneys. Sometimes you have to boil it down to basics.
