Shot by by Tim Bret Day, the ad features Christensen in an array of lacy corsets and lingerie. In addition, the model also stars in Agent Provocateur's steamy video campaign as the sultry "Pirate Queen." In the short film, Christensen is said to seduce and rob the captain of the ship — pique your interest?

To celebrate the launch of Kate Moss for Agent Provocateur Bridal — because you know there's always a celebration — Kate and her posse partied the evening away at Milk Studios in NYC. Fabulous guests in attendance included Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Lake Bell, and Byrdie Bell (no relation). Several neon signs, including one behind the bar that screamed "Let Them Eat Kate," made it very clear who the party was in honor of . . . the bride in black, of course!

Agent Provocateur's new bridal ads featuring Kate Moss are nothing short of sheer horror. The picturesque fantasy and horror-themed photoshoot depicts Moss in a surreal world of bleeding heads, skulls, and crossbones. I get the whole anti-bride theme, but isn't romance what she's supposed to be selling? I was hoping to see a more amorous side of Kate but I can't deny that she still looks Fab despite the blood and gore. Is this what you expected to see from Kate?

Agent Provocateur is all over the news these days. The latest dish is that the brand has tapped world-renown font designers House Industries to tweak their font a bit. Why the change? The company's script-style logo has been "imitated to death," says founder Joe Corré.

House Industries looked to traditional English writing when they developed the new AP logo. To celebrate their work, House Industries and Agent Provocateur have come out with a limited-edition $100 book that tells the story of the collaboration. It comes with an AP underwear branded with House Industries' clothing arm, House33.

One of my favorite lingerie haunts, Agent Provocateur, has done shoes before, but only the bedroom-worthy kind with the little marabou fluff on the front.

Starting October 24, that's no longer the case: AP is partnering with Kurt Geiger to launch a shoe collection of eight street-ready styles! The "Pure Sex" line allows you to take some of the bedroom sexiness into your everyday life, with options like "Misty," the black patent mary janes at left, or "Sidney," which are some totally rad ankle boots. I will definitely be counting the days until October 24!

The Agent Provocateur "Pure Sex" collection runs $560 and up.

I have to admit that when I first heard that actress Maggie Gyllenhaal was going to replace Kate Moss as the face of Agent Provocateur, I was less than thrilled. I just couldn't get the image of Maggie with her little daughter Ramona out of my head long enough to replace it with her as a saucy lingerie model. But now that the ads have been released, I am pleasantly surprised. I suppose deep down I knew Maggie had what it took because of her sassy role in the Secretary. By looking at these sexy ads, you'd never guess Maggie is a mom who loves to lay low in jeans and flats. I guess that's a good thing! What do you think?

I have to hand it to Agent Provocateur: they are the masters at making dead sexy lingerie.

It's very smart of them, because every time I go to their website, I think that if their lingerie can transfer even an iota of its sexiness to me when I wear it, I'd be golden. I'd just walk around with a sly smile on my face all day, knowing I have on some great knickers underneath my clothes. The only problem with AP is the price - why should I spend so much on something that very few people will see?

This time, I don't have an excuse: AP is currently having a secret sale of up to 65% off some of their lingerie sets, footwear, and accessories. To see it, you have to join Club AP - no strings attached - you just have to register. And isn't it worth it, to get sale prices on their current collection? I think so...

It appears that the rumors about Daisy Lowe being Agent Provocateur's new girl were false. WWD revealed today that Maggie Gyllenhaal has been chosen instead! Maggie will appear in the first episode of the AP online campaign beginning September 1, with three more episodes to follow.

A bit of a surprising choice, but then I think of her in the S&M flick Secretary, and I know Miss Maggie can handle her share of lingerie just fine.

Kate has been the face of Agent Provocateur for almost a year now, and posed for multiple picture campaigns and four promotional videos, but her contract will not be renewed when it expires in August, AP co-owner Serena Rees has confirmed. Personal issues reportedly soured the relationship, as Rees is said to have had an affair with The Clash bassist Paul Simonon - the husband of one of Moss' close friends.

Kate's replacement has already been chosen, but all Rees will reveal about her is that "She's quite different. She's not sexy in an overt way." Meanwhile, speculation is growing that Gavin Rossdale's daughter Daisy Lowe is the unnamed replacement...

I'll admit it: I'm not a huge fan of Gwen Stefani's style, and over at Popsugar, we've given her a hard time for her misguided post-baby fashion. While I can't endorse the bra-plus-tube-top look, I will commend her choice of post-baby lingerie: the Agent Provocateur Cupid Maternity and Postnatal Bra available for $108 here. The upscale lingerie designer has created a line of supportive, front-fastening feeding bras that moms can wear during and after pregnancy. On the one hand, it's a bit ridiculous and indulgent, but I also like the idea that nursing moms can still pamper themselves with pretty undies.
