Girl's got it and she flaunts it. It's amazing how simple yet dramatic this look is. Ali pulled together some smart and sexy separates, kept her palette dark, and showed some skin. Bold yet cool accessories were key: Ray Ban Wayfarers, an oversize black patent satchel, and slit suede booties. Whipped.

I Want This Wardrobe: Gossip Girl, Vanessa Abrams

Thanksgiving on Gossip Girl means Autumnal tones of browns, reds, and oranges. Check out how Vanessa showed off her holiday cheer in an array of colors and prints. The Brooklynite's expert layering skills are something to note. Her bold orange Forever 21 pea coat is the perfect contrast against her Anna Sui print dress. To punch it up, Vanessa adorned herself in pretty turquoise bangles and Alexis Bittar hoops. Note how she chose darker colors for her LnA leggings, Minnetonka boots, and bag.

Celebrity Style: Jessica Szohr

Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr was party-ready at the Juicy Couture boutique opening in NYC last night. She worked the event in a gorgeous green chiffon Juicy dress, a black skinny belt, and black patent booties. But the real standouts, in my opinion, were her accessories — colorful stacked bracelets and a gigantic silver ring took the look from serious to lighthearted. In an outfit like this, how could you not have fun?

I Want This Wardrobe: Gossip Girl, Vanessa Abrams

Last night's episode of Gossip Girl left me sighing, "Poor Vanessa." The Brooklynite got another taste of the cruel Upper East Side when Blair and Chuck decided to cast her in their devious plan. Vanessa crossed bridges to attend a soiree hosted by the Bass family. Never one to succumb to traditional style, the brunette strutted her stuff in a unique ensemble. Vanessa's printed Eskell Dahlia dress was pretty cute, but what really caught my attention were her accessories: earrings and a ring from Alexis Bittar, a stunning Gabriela de la Vega cluster necklace, and a delectable Rosena Sami jeweled cuff. Little did Blair expect, her plan backfired, leaving Vanessa bruised but on top.

The actress has been keeping it pretty casual these days, but this time, she decided to dress up a gray sheath dress and Louboutin pleated ankle boots. Fab Finding Follow-Up: Dance the Day Away

A friend of mine is in a modern dance group and they're having their recital soon. She invited me to go, and though I'm excited to see her moves, I'm nervous about my outfit. The only other dance recital I've been to was my little cousin's ballet class. I wanted to look dance-inspired but not foolish. Thanks for all of the lovely suggestions. I'm confident that I'll fit right in with the dance crowd in one of these sweet ensembles.

I started you off with this Jennifer Ouellette Headband ($75) because it has a sweet ballet aesthetic that will make me fit in with the dancers.

Look #1, created by kendallina, is soft with a little bit of tough. The thick strap adds a modern interpretation to the girlie ballerina flat.

The season premiere of Gossip Girl lived up to our expectations, debuting another round of drama and sin in the Hamptons. While there were lots of juicy details, I'll focus on the fashions of Blair Waldorf.

While most of the boys were off frolicking with new ladies, Blair was busy making Chuck jealous. What better way than by looking pretty and polished with a new boy, or shall I say, Lord, on her arm. Sassy of her to mix it up in a Milly leaf print dress and though you can't see them in the picture, Arturo Chiang patent woven pumps. To top it all off, a signature headband. Get him where it hurts, Blair!

The debut of Georgina Sparks on last night's Gossip Girl was just as dramatic as the previews made it out to be . . . this girl has trouble written all over her. Her look seems to be all lamé leggings, studs, and spray-on jeans thus far, which is a fun departure from Blair's high maintenance look and Serena's Kate Moss-inspired wardrobe. From her patent Jimmy Choos and black J Brand skinnies to her Gucci reptilian handbag and tangle of chains, the former Buffy sibling is projecting pure attitude. I wonder what kind of trouble she's going to stir up as "Sarah."

Jewelry Designer Spotlight: Alexis Bittar

Allow me to take a break from the parade of celebrity fashion that is New York Fashion Week to spotlight a fabulous jewelry designer: Alexis Bittar. The New York native also happens to be a favorite of the stars, with a client list that includes Madonna, Cameron Diaz, Eva Longoria, and Mischa Barton. But what I love most about him is that his striking jewelry is accessible to those of us who can't necessarily afford Fred Leighton bling. Bittar works mainly with lucite and semi-precious stones, but the results are a far cry from costume jewelry. Rather, the retro-inspired designs look very refined, with just a touch of funkiness, like this Multi-Oval Link Necklace, which costs $172 and is available here.
