Seeing Anne Hathaway at Elle Magazine's 15th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute in her standout platforms makes me wonder why more woman don't take the plunge on the red carpet. Yes, the look is head-to-toe Spring '09 Marc Jacobs, but given his successful collection, I would wear the entire eclectic look, too. And, I would wear it ASAP, as Anne did.

Her pajama-style Marc Jacobs wrap dress from the Resort line looks super sophisticated against black accessories like opaque tights, patent Brian Atwood pumps, and a black Ferragamo woven bag. The oval turquoise earrings and chunky gray cocktail ring are nice, simple touches.
