Memorial Day weekend I kicked up some major waves water skiing! This was a sporty little excursion so my outfit had to reflect my outdoorsy, but equally Fab, nature. Who says tomboys aren't cute?!

I have always been drawn to the weave. I think it's my lifelong adoration for Bottega Veneta (see amazing Spring wedge at left) and its luxurious woven leathers. Because Bottega has been around for so long, many copy cats have chimed in on the earthy motif.

You all seemed a bit apprehensive about the shoes of Spring and I gotta tell ya: the bags also come from Funkytown. Clutches continue to be the bag of choice, in both oversized and embellished versions. I have a blue crush on this patchwork Pucci (pictured).

The differences between a juicy red patent handbag and a super slick black bag are three-fold.

1. Black is mysterious; red is in-your-face.
