I like bearing some skin. Being the California girl that I am, when it's time to bundle up I sometimes replace a flash of skin with a flash of flair. Who's in the market for a leather jacket? If you've done your research, you know that even a basic leather jacket can seriously break the bank. And I refuse to fork over a thousand bucks for one.

I currently have three leather jackets lined up for Fall. To my surprise, my Gray Faux Leather Biker Jacket by Mossimo ($35, left) is by far my favorite. The product shot doesn't do justice to its buttery texture. I loved it so much, I even got it in black. My only complaint is that the sleeves are a bit loose-fitting, but for that price, I found a solution. I simply rolled them up a few times for a more laid-back look. I give it two leathery thumbs up.

Peacocks are one of my favorite animals. Every time I go to the zoo, I'm taken aback by how sightly they are compared to the rest of the animals. It's the males who have iridescent blue-green plumage, while the females have dull green, brown, and grey feathers. Sad.

Old Navy is on a roll these days! First it puts out some fabulously edgy ads and now cool clothes follow suit (check out this Old Navy-inspired Look For Less).

This Old Navy Pleated Trapeze Top, $17, struck my fancy for two reasons: the black swirly dots give it a simultaneously serious yet fun quality, and it's amazingly inexpensive. I also love that there's a fusion of masculinity (the muted colors and dots) and femininity (the pleats and trapeze shape).

For a casual day of running errands, I'd pair it with colored jeans and flats. At night, I'd wear a denim pencil skirt and some fun colored pumps.

As you know, I am print-shy. But when a print is subdued and hard to read, it rocks my world.

I am in lust with this Lyell Pinwheel Burgundy Camisole, on sale for $100 (originally $165) for that precise reason. The pinwheels are so small, you can barely identify them unless you're up close. And the triple tier detailing at the bodice makes an otherwise-boring cami extremely girly. I also love the seriously thin straps that look like they're about to, sexily, fall off the shoulders.

Ah, don't you love how something so simple can rouse you sometimes? Gotta love fashion!

Just when I thought I couldn't find a pair of shades in a color I didn't already have I stumble upon these Burberry Smoky Oversized Round Sunnies, $190. Now I'm not into huge Nicole Richie-esque oversized glasses for myself, but I certainly like somewhat oversized and these are it! They're much more Jackie O, than Nicole R. But the major draw is the clear smokey frames - so sultry, so cool.

Hello my name is FabSugar and I'm addicted to American Apparel. Okay, now that I got that out of the way, I can go on and on about how much I adore this Poplin Reversible Vest, $36, that comes in eight color combos.

The first thing that appealed to me is that it's reversible - coolness. If one day I am feeling blue, I can wear the light blue side. If the other I am feeling dark, I can wear the black side. Heck, if I'm feeling really excited, I can wear bright turquoise! I also love that it looks so crisp and clean against a white tank. It would spice up any old jeans-and-t-shirt outfit in an instant. Fabworthy indeed!

These Branches File Folders, $9 for eight folders, make me want to throw out my boring manila folders at once! I know that any old folder can get the job done, but why settle for blah when you can have beautiful? I don't know about you, but the pretty pastel designs would definitely motivate me to open my folders more often. Wow, who knew style could encourage productivity?!
