So many scents, so little time. So if you can't decide what perfume to try next, why not follow the lead of celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Moss, and Madonna, all of whom have sought out the coveted Kisu fragrance, created by London home store Tann Rokka. This hard-to-find eau de parfum is Eastern-inspired in both its look and smell, with tones of ylang-ylang and musk giving it an incredibly unique and exotic scent for both men and women.
Lyn Harris of Miller Harris London has just released a very vanilla-y, oriental-smelling fragrance inspired by Jane Birkin. Style icon Birkin is a legendary actress, singer, model, and humanitarian, as well as the inspiration behind the legendary Hermes Birkin Bag, which has the distinction of having the longest waiting list for any luxury item in history (about six years at its peak).
It has been Birkin's lifelong dream to create her own scent, and now it's finally here.
Here at FabSugar, we obviously have a weakness for anything with "sugar" in the name. So when I saw the cute cotton-candy packaging for Pink Sugar Eau de Toilette Spray, I simply had to try it. Not surprisingly, the vanilla-tinged scent is evocative of cotton candy, but in a way that's sweetly nostalgic, not sickly sweet.
Don't you hate it when you find the fragrance of your dreams, and then suddenly it's nowhere to be found? This has happened to me on at least two occasions, but often, the fragrance isn't discontinued. Usually, it's just sold overseas or in limited batches, and if you look hard, you can still get your fragrance fix.
