Kerry Washington and her new bangs attended the Courage in Journalism Awards in Beverly Hills last night. The actress stunned in a light gray Peter Som corset dress that hugged her in all the right places. But the real star of the night was her gorgeous black rhinestone necklace. Wow. It sits perfectly on her smooth decollete and provides the right amount of pizazz. Black accessories elevate the look. Just lovely.

This Week's Fab Favorite: Kerry Washington

There is a reason why every woman loves Oscar de la Renta. Just look at Kerry Washington at the premiere of Lakeview Terrace. The column gown fits like a glove, the citrus print is gorgeous and Kerry is positively glowing. You can tell she loves this dress, too. The gold cuffs on both arms add a luxe touch and her coral dangly earrings elevate the look. Some would argue the hemline is a tad too long, but when it comes to floor-grazing gowns, I'd rather it be on the longer side. It creates drama and when she walks the tail ever so slightly follows her. Kerry proves an exotic gown can shine in the middle of the city and not just at an exotic locale.

While most the other ladies at the ACE Awards showed up in gold and black, Kerry Washington opted for silver Tory Burch. I commend her decision to go with something a short because she looks fun and relaxed. Those chunky jewels give the ensemble a fancy kick. Do you love it or hate it? Source

Kerry Washington always looks beautiful, but I really like how she mixed it up last night at the 2007 VH1 Hip Hop Honors. She set off her blue and white dress with bright punches of patent color. Yellow and orange are shaping up to be two of the hot colors for Spring, so she's ahead of the fashion curve there!

I love this emerald green gown but I am not in love with it, if that makes sense. The jewel-tone color and grand silhouette are gorgeous, but when put together, something is off. Don't get me wrong, Kerry pulls it off really well, but perhaps it's too much green for my eyes. I do, however, like that the bodice is sweetheart and that unique necklace! I'm iffy, what about you? Kerry Washington looked stunning in this Oscar de la Renta gown at the premiere of her new movie I Think I Love My Wife. As you can see, this yellow gown is fresh off the Spring runway, and I must say, I love how the yellow really pops on Kerry's beautiful dark skin.

Although we all wish we could adorn designer dresses such as these, unfortunately I don't think our bank accounts agree! We found a couple of more wearable options that still cater to the fresh yellow trend that is so hot right now.
