Lindsay Lohan got herself and her chrome nails out of LA and into London alongside girlfriend Samantha Ronson. She ditched her leather jacket and instead opted for a plush ivory cowl-neck sweater, black leggings (presumably from her own line), and a Chanel bag. Her black-suede fringe boots are the highlight of the ensemble — they provide funkiness while retaining polish. If paying a grand for boots is ludicrous, get the look for less!

Along with many other celebs, Lindsay Lohan attended the 10th Annual Key to the Cure charity event in NYC. Unlike the ladies who wore dresses, however, the actress opted for pants. Specifically, her signature skin-tight leather leggings. There's a lot going on between the busy graphic print floral Matthew Williamson blouse, hot pink Louboutin booties (love these), and colorful necklace. Does it all come together neatly or is it a hot mess?

One person who's banking on the hosiery business is Lindsay Lohan. The success of her leggings line has prompted the celebrity designer to take her business savvy one step further with her own brand development company, Stay Gold LLC. First on the entrepreneur's list? Expanding her 6126 leggings line.

Come Spring, Lohan will launch a lower-priced collection of leggings that will retail at $48 compared to her current line which retails between $44 for ankle gloves to $160 for leggings embellished with quilted leather patches. Next Fall, the powerhouse plans on adding accessories to her brand. Lindsay also mentioned developing a odorless, all natural, self-tanning lotion. I'll let you be the judge of that.

All weekend I tried to shake this image: Lindsay Lohan with a huge Yves Saint Laurent shopping bag. Yes, I am jealous, but I'm also darn curious. I am a devoted shopper and therefore always like to know what other people purchase. It's exciting. That said, my imagination ran wild trying to imagine what Lindsay bought. Rest assured, she wore her new red YSL platforms the next day. I knew she got shoes! If she got a bag, I may be hatin'.

Here's the fun part. I tried to imagine what I would buy if I could afford a YSL shopping spree. You may remember what Team Fab and PartySugar bought when the house's founder passed away. The Fall collection is razor-sharp and already arriving in stores. A couple gorgeous bags, a couple enviable shoes, and some not-so-basic basics would be my picks of the litter.

On Fridays, I like to shake Celebrity Style up. Why not? I realize Lindsay's look at the opening of the Apple Lounge may be hit or miss, but I consider tasteful risk taking a hit. Her emerald green 3.1 Phillip Lim crop top complements her strawberry blond hair (which looks really good, btw), and she knows a pair of Yves Saint Laurent platform pumps will give her jean-short-wearing legs the proper boost. She created a mix of rough and delicate jewelry, and I had to throw in this season's fringed Botkier bag for fun. What do you think; did Lindsay hit it or miss it?

Lindsay may be amused by what's on her text message but I am crushing on her long silver lariat. If a necklace were ever sexy, the lariat would be the culprit. Something about one end going through the other to make a loop is slippery sweet. I have one. It's gold and the focal point is a solid gold triangle piece. It's really cool. An ex-boyfriend gave it to me, and yes, I still wear it proudly sexy.

As the Fall season rolls around, celebrity designers (coined by WWD as delebrities), will be judged. With stores constantly on the hunt for the hottest commodity, it comes as no surprise that Hollywood entertainers like LL Cool J, Avril Lavigne, and Rachel Bilson are eager to get a cut of the action. LL Cool J for Sears, Abbey Dawn for Kohl's by Avril Lavigne, and Rachel Bilson's Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans will soon hit stores. Like many celebrity designers, they have ventured into a risky retail game and only time will tell if they will fail or prevail.

So what do the experts predict? "With all the competition out there, I really can't see girls seeking out clothing from LL Cool J for themselves to wear. Rachel Bilson, on the other hand, is a modern classic. She has great style and girls will want to dress like her. I could see her line lasting a long time" said Lisa Chase of CelebrityEverything.com, a website for the celebrity-obsessed crowd. Chase also predicts a short run for Lavigne's line at Kohl's.

It looks like you all are over the whole celebrity designer trend but I guess we'll just have to ride it out!

Lindsay Lohan has taken on another international deal as the official ambassador of Visa Swap 2008. The fashion recycling program, held in London between June and July, asks people to donate their used, wearable clothes, shoes and bags. In exchange, donors will receive points, which they can use to buy other vintage clothing dropped off by other people.

"The idea of swapping clothes, getting something for nothing and refreshing your wardrobe appeals to everyone" said Lohan, who has donated two pairs of Jimmy Choos, an Issa dress, and a Miu Miu bag of her own to the cause. Now that's what I call a fashion incentive.

2008 MTV Movie Awards Trend Alert: I've Been a Bad, Bad Girl

There were the goodie two shoes of the MTV Movie Awards and then there were the bad girls. Or well, wannabe bad girls. Guess which group can kick the asses of the other? You guessed right. There were a handful of bad girls dressed to kick in black, stilettos, and attitudes, but my favorites, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Charlize Theron, were the leaders of the pack. From Anne's black liquid Sophia Kokosalaki dress to SJP's white witch-inspired boots, to Charlize's sexy superhero getup, these ladies made it clear to not mess with them. Bad girl power!

Lindsay Lohan's got a brand new bag! This is the second time I've spotted her walking around with a gorgeously metallic python purse and I have been itching to know who it's by. I discovered it's Pauric Sweeney's Python Shoulder Bag and it's currently on sale from $2,860 to $1,916. On its own, metallic can be overwhelmingly shiny, but the brown leather straps temper it and lend some much-needed contrast.

Lindsay Lohan has just been chosen as the new face of Italian brand Fornarina. With Lindsay on their side, the company has big plans to push its brand worldwide with flagship stores in London, Paris, and New York.

Scott Ronaldson, managing director of Fornari Retail, explains their reasoning for choosing the controversial celebrity stating, "Lindsay is that very self-confident, dynamic woman, she's got a lot of attitude. That's what we're hoping our customer will aspire to." Lohan, wearing Fornarina here, has also expressed interest in designing accessories for the brand. Really?

Growing up in a household with five women, Courtney Crawford was well aware of the importance of a luxurious shoe.

After graduating from college in Florida, Courtney pursued his passion for designing shoes at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. There he garnered his talent and connected with some of the most prestigious players in the fashion industry. During his time at FIT, Courtney secured an internship with milliner and shoe designer Eugenia Kim. After only interning a couple of months with Eugenia, he was appointed head shoe designer for her company. That alone should be enough to tarnish leather's dated sex appeal. Manson might only be the shock rocker's stage name, but his wardrobe is a real-life tale of blood and guts.

Yes, Lindsay Lohan has made far too many fashion mistakes lately, and life mistakes, but I must give credit where credit is due. While shopping in Rome, she looks fashion forward and sophisticated in her brown fur jacket and sleek black platform boots. If it were up to me, I'd ditch the shiny leggings, but I'll overlook it this time since the rest of her look is so slick. Who knows, maybe 2008 will bring out a more chic (and sober) LL!

Are You Over Scarves?

I know it's only December but is it the attack of the scarves or what? Don't misunderstand me — I love and wear scarves often, but it seems like too many celebrities are wearing them all the time and during inappropriate situations, like on the red carpet and in scorching weather. Lindsay Lohan, has not only been loyal to her leggings since her return to LA, she's also been drowning in lengthy scarves. And we can't forget the leopard scarf epidemic that infected Kate Moss, SJP, and Ashley Olsen. I think scarves are a great way to accessorize a drab outfit, but I'm not for all scarves all the time, everywhere. What do you think? Are you over scarves?

Wasn't it just a couple days ago when Lindsay Lohan was Celebrity Style-worthy? Now she's back to being too trendy and unflattering.

LL is committing many crimes of fashion here. First, I have a problem with her practically living in leggings. There's a time and place for them and it's not always! What's worse is the white sequined jacket; it's too gaudy. Sequins are good but only on a minimal basis. I'd ditch the jacket, leggings, and oversized cross, and throw on a classy pair of wide-leg jeans and a slick black and white coat. Is that too much to ask for?

There's a major difference between red carpet style and sidewalk style: Celebrities are pretty much on their own when it comes to the streets. These five ladies, Katherine Heigl, Kate Hudson, Ashley Olsen, Lindsay Lohan, and Rachel Bilson, all took their unique styles to the sidewalks, showing the world what they, not their stylists, are capable of. Katherine mainly showed us girly casual pieces, Kate did fabulous outerwear, Ashley stuck to avant-garde, Lindsay kept it trendy, and Rachel stayed loyal to her scarves and boots. She's back in full force in her Linq hoodie sweater dress, brown suede boots, and Tom Ford aviators. The last time Lindsay Lohan was featured on Celebrity Style, it was on her 21st birthday, pre-rehab. It's good to have her back. Not much has changed about her style and she's been on a shopping binge. Urban Outfitters seems to be her favorite shop at the moment — both her plum colored bags are from there. Though she didn't dress up for Halloween, she has a modern pirate look going here!

Clutches have taken a turn for the bigger. Back in the day, a large kind like this Urban Outfitters Croco Large Clutch ($3 might have been mistaken for a work portfolio, but thanks to celebs like Lindsay Lohan, who recently wore this very clutch, it's used as daywear now.

I fell in love with this particular clutch long before I saw it on Lindsay. I swear! The croco detail is super sophisticated and the plum color makes it stand out. Plus, it's only $38. If this isn't a bag to have, then I don't know what is!
