Given Karl Lagerfeld's famously pompous demeanor, it's not surprising that
he served as his own inspiration for his latest holiday/resort handbag and luggage collection. The designer wanted items that are obviously identifiable with his style and those items include zippers shaped like cravats (cute!), handles inspired by sunglasses, and woven Ks on leather clutches.
The color palette is mostly black, white, and beige, with some pops of bright orange and midnight blue.
It's getting to be that time of year when I've got traveling on my mind. The weather's nice, the days are getting longer . .
