One of my favorite Russian models Natalia Vodianova spent an elegant evening out with her hubby Justin Portman at the Gagosian gallery in Moscow last night. Per usual, she looked svelte in an Alexander Wang's nude and black one-shoulder dress. Instead of doing the usual dress with fancy sandals, Natalia went down the funky route by wearing the frock over leather leggings, finished with patent peep-toe booties. To add a sophisticated twist, she opted for delicate gold chandelier earrings and a fur chubby.

I Want This Wardrobe: Gossip Girl, Blair Waldorf

The season premiere of Gossip Girl lived up to our expectations, debuting another round of drama and sin in the Hamptons. While there were lots of juicy details, I'll focus on the fashions of Blair Waldorf.

While most of the boys were off frolicking with new ladies, Blair was busy making Chuck jealous. What better way than by looking pretty and polished with a new boy, or shall I say, Lord, on her arm. Sassy of her to mix it up in a Milly leaf print dress and though you can't see them in the picture, Arturo Chiang patent woven pumps. To top it all off, a signature headband. Get him where it hurts, Blair!

A pair of perfect navy blue sailor pants miraculously made their way into my life recently and have inspired me to bring out my inner sailor-ette, full force. The nautical trend has long been a part of fashion history — hello, Jean Paul Gaultier — but these perfect pants make me want to come sail away, and Shopbop's nautical selection is allowing me to do just that. Won't you join me on my proverbial ship by incorporating anchors, stripes (a la 3.1 Phillip Lim's resort line, left), and brass buttons into your closet? Is that an "aye aye Fab" I hear?!

I have dabbled in the craft of beading. For me, though, it is very elementary stuff, you know, earrings and bracelets for my friends. In last night's episode, prior to the drama with the photo shoot, Blair and Serena went on a mini shopping spree. Well, not so mini considering the shopping bags they're toting. Serena chose to go casual in her grey skinny Wrangler jeans, BCBG denim vest and Gucci Indy bag. As usual, Blair was dressed up in a Milly dress, black tights and oxford pumps.

This is one of my favorite Blair looks so far because she looks polished and a tad androgynous. Though sometimes she overdoes it with the tights, they go really well with this outfit. If you'd like to go shopping and look this chic, get her look below.

On her way to the recording studio yesterday, Fergie looked surprisingly understated. Notice I didn't say simple, just understated by her usually frilly standards. Talk about fusing every color under the rainbow! Fashionsugar posted this Milly Paisley Print Tunic, $345, in the Love It or Hate It? group. I think if it had a few less colors, I'd actually wear it because I like the silhouette of the tunic. The pink/yellow/purple combo is making me envision someone jumping into a bowl of Lucky Charms cereal and coming out looking like this. A tad too 70's for my taste. You? White is in the air, and beyond. It all started when we were struck by white lightening, and then there were the white accessories, white shades, and just an overall influx of white. So it's no surprise that as the weather heats up, the celebs are looking heavenly in dresses of this hue. The versatility of a LWD is profound: one can either look inappropriately like a 6-year-old or one can look like a sophisticated woman. I would recommend the latter, and stick to styles that are either minimal or retro - to avoid looking like Alice in Wonderland.

Trend Alert: Ride The Mod Train

Looks like Mod is going to have another run. I wonder why this trend from Fall is still popular. Is it because celebs have been sporting it, and continue to, as seen in this week's Life & Style? Is it because of the recent release of Factory Girl? Or is it simply that this trend has staying power? NY Fashion Week: Milly

I'm a big fan of baby-doll dresses and other girly-cute clothes, so lately I've been admiring the designs of New York-based label Milly, by designer Michelle Smith. Her clothes have been spotted on celebs including Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston and are sold at Scoop and other favorite fashionista destinations. Milly's Spring 2007 collection, unveiled at New York Fashion Week, is pure fun. Not the sort of stuff you'd want to wear to a job interview, mind you, but just right for indulging your adorable side.

With Milly we see some trends that surfaced earlier this week—like coral tones, big buttons, and cropped jackets—in addition to some very playful and creative takes on eyelet and polka-dots. I particularly like the circular shades that all of the models were sporting. It's enough to make me want to skip fall and go right to summer.
