This Week's Fab Favorite: Beyonce Knowles

Leave it to Beyonce to look as Fab at an airport as she does on the red carpet. I respect that. This is a woman who says her dressed-down look includes "a nice shirt, nice jeans, and stilettos." She certainly doesn't lie — what she wore from New York to Tokyo is an outfit most people would wear to a soiree. Everything about it is flawless. Where to start? That dramatically ruffled blouse is a good place. It's silky, luxurious, and so Beyonce. But oh, that Alexander McQueen tailcoat jacket, that's pure eye candy.

She's a smart cookie for balancing the intense top half with simple cropped black jeans and relatively understated studded pumps. Chic black aviators remind us she's a star. While she's waving to her fans, notice that her bodyguard is carrying her Roberto Cavalli apple bag. What a gent!

This vid makes me giggle and perspire at the same time. It's a little over the top, but it's also entrancing and sexy. Take two exotic performers, Beyonce and Shakira, outfit them in cutouts, halters and thigh-bearing skirts and you've got the world's attention. Soften things up by adding elements of nature: flowing silk panels (wind), a maze of orchids (earth) and dancing in the rain (I always wanted to dance in the rain . . . ) and things aren't too overt. Though the gyrating duet at the end is a bit silly, I don't think I could pull off those moves. What is this song about again?

Usually I'm not an advocate of matching outfits amongst a trio - and I'm certainly not when it comes to a couple matching outfits. But there are exceptions; there are always exceptions in fashion! Here is momma Beyonce, sister Beyonce and the diva herself at the Deréon launch in Canada. With mother and sister by Beyonce's side, the trio looks fantastic in black with gold accents. I bet they did some planning - with their no doubt Deréon wares - but I'm not complaining. It's not too obvious and they each have an individual look, as well, they are each age appropriate. Roberto Cavalli is the newest addition to the league of designers who debut collections for H&M around the winter holiday season, a league which includes Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, and Viktor & Rolf.

Cavalli's H&M collection, which features 20 menswear pieces and 25 womenswear pieces, including lingerie and matching accessories, promises to be full of his signature vivid prints and striking colors, all for a fraction of their normal price. The collection debuts in 200 H&M stores worldwide on November 8. I wouldn't surprised if one of you sees Beyonce, Posh, or J. Lo shopping right there with you come November 8 - they're all huge Cavalli fans!

Like Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce Knowles also made three changes last night. The red gown she wore during the Dreamgirls number paled in comparison to these two glamorous gowns, so I've just left that one out. I think that Beyonce looked amazing in both gowns, but I really like the mint green color of the first one best over this silvery nude dress. It's a wonder that Beyonce had time to do anything else besides change her clothes at the Grammy Awards last night. We counted her in four different gowns throughout the course of the evening! She started off on the red carpet with an ivory satin cocktail dress, then changed in to a full length bronze beaded number for her performance in the show, then hit the press room in a floor length silver gown since metallics were the theme for the evening.
