The '80s were all about punches of bright color. Jaimisthejam got herself in the power '80s mood by throwing on a bold purple blazer over an all-black ensemble. Nice move.

While the Upper East Siders had college on their minds last night on Gossip Girl, their intentions proved otherwise. Case in point: Serena van der Woodsen. In an attempt to shun her ex-BF, Serena opted out of her Brown visit and decided to accept the dean of Yale’s personal invitation to visit the school.

We've witnessed the resurgence of black blazers, but being Fab, I like to jump ahead of the curve. I urge you all to lighten up in light-colored blazers. Katie Holmes just did and I'm sure you can, too.
