Paris Fashion Week, Spring 2009: Cacharel This is the second season that Cacharel has been designed by London-based couple Eley Kishimoto. The label was founded in the early '60s by Jean Bousquet, but he recently retired and was introduced to Eley Kishimoto by French artist Sophie Calle.

Culottes
Women's flared, shortened pant, made to look like a skirt. They differ from trousers or shorts by being much fuller at the bottom (hem) than at the waist. They're unlike
a skort, which is shorts that have a front covering to resemble a skirt.

London-based Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto have been
tapped as the new designers for Cacharel. The couple has collaborated on the Eley Kishimoto line, well-known for its colorful graphic prints, since the mid-90s. In the past, they have contributed their talent for print designs and fabric development to Alexander McQueen and Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton.

Le Train Bleu is currently offering
half off on most styles in its online store. What I like about this Portland-based store is that it also ships internationally to Western Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and more! Go
here to see if they ship to your hood.
