Since the writers' strike is putting a damper on the Golden Globe's red carpet (sniff), I thought it would be fun to go back and reminisce about the best-dressed ladies of the Globe's red carpet. I selected a few obvious and some not-so-obvious picks. They run the gamut from long to short, bright to dim, dramatic to simple. 
All month we have been telling you that Metallics are hot for Spring and it looks like they were hot for the red carpet as well. Although not as prevalent as white or Grecian, there were plenty of ladies glittering in gold, silver, bronze and platinum.

Various shades of white was one of the major themes on the red carpet last night. From Ellen Pompeo's stark white flowing Versace to Cameron's drop waisted one shoulder number, cool white was certainly hot at the Golden Globes. Get used to seeing this seemingly simple color - it was a major player for Spring 2007.
