The collection is described as soft and Parisian-inspired. “We’ll do lace camis, boy shorts and kimono robes in a boudoir sense — not a traditional satin robe,” said Reyes. His romantic lingerie collection will be available next Fall — sounds lovely!

Apparently, Eva Mendes is too sexy for America. A few months ago, Mendes's CK perfume ads were banned and now the actress's ads for Calvin Klein's new lingerie line have been considered too raunchy for television by censors in the US.

"I was surprised at the fuss because the ad I did is so typically Calvin, where it's really pushing the envelope. It's so tasteful," said Mendes. "You do see a bit of my breast revealed but it's so quick that I was like, "Oh, come on, guys!"

One would question why showing a little skin gets censored while blood and gore are seen across America's television screens on a regular basis . . .

Out with the old and in with the new. Victoria's Secret is gearing up to show off its sophisticated side with the launch of a new store redesign. Inspired by a jewel box, the new exterior of Victoria's Secret will embody a upscale feel using laminated glass panels, smaller windows, crystals and stainless steel. In other words, it will be far more demure than its current stagey windows. Take a look at a rendering of the new store below.

The store's interior will be updated as well. It will look more "upscale, luxurious, and very feminine," said Inga Kruliene, a principal of Callison, the architectural design firm that is collaborating with Victoria’s Secret on the project. Compared with older schematic of pinks and red, the new interior will showcase a romantic black and white theme. The redesign will debut at the new flagship location in the Upper East Side of Manhattan come November. Plans to upgrade all Victoria's Secret stores are yet to be decided. Pleasure Principle, named after a hit single off the singer's 1986 Control album, is set to land in stores by the end of this year or early 2009. The collection is the brainchild of Jackson and the Australian lingerie designer behind Dr. Rey's Shapewear line, Bruno Schiavi (pictured).

The 18-piece bra and underwear collection mostly consists of lace and satins in sizes ranging from 32A to 44G. Prices are affordable at under $40 for each piece. So why lingerie? “It’s something for every woman, and I truly do mean that. It makes you feel sexy,” Jackson said. I couldn't agree more.

Charlotte's pea green sleepwear is dull and drab in comparison to her bubbly personality, while Miranda's line looks too cute and girlie with offerings of brown and pink lace undies. Kind of disappointing since the Spring collection was spot on. What do you think?

Lydia Hearst, heiress and Gossip Girl guest star, is the body and face of Myla lingerie's Fall/Winter ’08 campaign. Shot by Ben Hassett, the campaign evokes '40s Hollywood glamor using dramatic contrasts and sensual backdrops.

“I turned up the volume with strong luscious colour and styling inspired by a dramatic '40s mood, drawing on Film Noir Screen Sirens and classic Hollywood glamour. The collection features iconic new bra shapes to coordinate with retro hipster knickers and deep suspenders in silk satins, crepes and extravagant lace with an abundance of sheer frills and opulent details," said Myla creative director Franceska Luther.

Lydia is quite seductive in Myla's vintage-inspired silks and satins. My favorite thus far is Lydia in the green and black lace set (left). I like how the mirror cleverly catches the different angles of her body.

The campaign will launch in stores in August, followed by a print campaign in December.

When the news came last July that Stella McCartney was introducing her first lingerie line, I was intrigued. Now that the collection is hitting stores February 1, I am definitely pumped.

The first round of sweet nothings consists of thirteen different collections, each with cheeky names like Poppy Posing, Coco Blushing, and Eve Giggling. Everything from a '40s vintage-inspired range of bras, bodysuits, and briefs with mesh and silk patches stitched on to a silk georgette star-printed triangle bra and thong are in the mix.

For those of you who like to keep things organized, "Knickers of the Week" gift packs are available, with a week's worth of briefs each embroidered with a different day of the week and floral detail. Agent Provocateur is all over the news these days. The latest dish is that the brand has tapped world-renown font designers House Industries to tweak their font a bit. Why the change? The company's script-style logo has been "imitated to death," says founder Joe Corré.

House Industries looked to traditional English writing when they developed the new AP logo. To celebrate their work, House Industries and Agent Provocateur have come out with a limited-edition $100 book that tells the story of the collaboration. It comes with an AP underwear branded with House Industries' clothing arm, House33.
