I know you're all as excited as I am about the news that Thakoon is collaborating with Target. To keep busy until its arrival in December, check out Mossimo's Fall 2008 collection. I must say, it's a good distraction.

Among the pieces worth investing in are a cozy sweater cardigan (left), a satin trench, a gray and black plaid coat, wide-leg trousers, and a faux leather jacket. If anyone can make knits and coats look sexy, it's Penelope. After the Summer collection, she's striking a few new poses in Mango's Fall collection. This has me itching for a new Fall wardrobe. Leather jackets, colorful knits, sexy cardigans, and plaid and sheer blouses make up a cozy Mango montage. And once again, Penelope's sultry gaze does the brand justice.

You can already browse and shop the Fall catalog. Blouses hover in the $60-$80 range, dresses are $80-$100, and leather jackets are the most pricey at around $250.

Cosabella is back with a Fall Sex and the City lingerie collection. They seem to have Carrie's and Samantha's personas down — pink lace for Carrie and steamy animal prints for Samantha — but something went haywire in the design department when designing for the other ladies of Sex and the City.

Charlotte's pea green sleepwear is dull and drab in comparison to her bubbly personality, while Miranda's line looks too cute and girlie with offerings of brown and pink lace undies. Kind of disappointing since the Spring collection was spot on. What do you think?

I witnessed Lauren's Fall collection on the runway and now it's time to buy it. The La Vie en Rose collection is now available on her brand website. It's a mix of her staple California jersey basics, with a French flair and a sliver of the '80s. Her favorite teeny frocks range from strapless and girlie to maxi glam. Halters, asymmetrical and scoop necks rule; this collection is a tad sexier than her past ones. Prices range from $90 for a top to $230 for a dress. Justin's on the cover, and there's lots more where that came from. The Fashion Rocks supplement, to get us all excited for the show Sept. 9, is packed with the freshest names in music and fashion. Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Usher, Mark Ronson, Andre 3000, Pharrell, the Black Eyed Peas, and many more will visually fuse the two arts.

One of my favorite snaps thus far is this one Steven Meisel captured of Sasha Pivovarova and Dhani Harrison, son of Beatle George Harrison. I love their forlorn looks emerging from a pool wearing furs, bohemian layers, and floppy toques. “Sasha’s clothes have an Anita Pallenberg vibe, which I love. Anita is so cool. Lydia Hearst, heiress and Gossip Girl guest star, is the body and face of Myla lingerie's Fall/Winter ’08 campaign. Shot by Ben Hassett, the campaign evokes '40s Hollywood glamor using dramatic contrasts and sensual backdrops.

“I turned up the volume with strong luscious colour and styling inspired by a dramatic '40s mood, drawing on Film Noir Screen Sirens and classic Hollywood glamour. The collection features iconic new bra shapes to coordinate with retro hipster knickers and deep suspenders in silk satins, crepes and extravagant lace with an abundance of sheer frills and opulent details," said Myla creative director Franceska Luther.

Lydia is quite seductive in Myla's vintage-inspired silks and satins. My favorite thus far is Lydia in the green and black lace set (left). I like how the mirror cleverly catches the different angles of her body.

The campaign will launch in stores in August, followed by a print campaign in December.

Aren't you just so excited Project Runway is back? Now there's even more PR news to get giddy about. Last season's winner, Christian Siriano, is finally selling his fierce designs on Bluefly! Of course, it wouldn't be a Christian collection without some avant-garde shoulders, but there's also simple items like skinny pants and a gray jersey tee. We're so used to associating Foley + Corinna with their famous city totes, but let's for a second focus on their equally talent-filled Fall collection. As is expected in the Autumn, the collection mostly consists of dark pieces, but it has a romantic femininity that makes it desirable. Deep reds, black, navy, purple, and ivory are just some of the hues that make up the palette. To give you an idea of how sensually appealing this line is, a few sheer dresses can double as sexy nightgowns. This collection is all about the small details: fluttery sleeves, embroidery, jeweled-necklines. To add to the mysteriousness, the look book was shot in what looks like a dim, secret-garden-style abandoned house (left). Step inside.

If there is one thing I prefer about Heidi Montag's clothing line to The Hills rival Lauren Conrad's it's the entertaining photography. Sneak Peek! Gap Inc.'s Holiday Collection

Gap Inc., which owns Gap, Banana Republic, and Old Navy, recently held its Holiday 2008 collection presentation in NYC, and Fashion Wire Daily showed us some of the holiday goods from the three retailers. With increasing gas prices, we can all afford to shop with a budget-conscious mindset right now, and luckily, we don't have to sacrifice good taste.

At the higher end is Banana Republic, who will offer oodles of evening looks, including a Prada-inspired lace dress. Gap's Holiday line is less fancy and more comfy, with lumberjack plaids and wool coats. Old Navy (pictured left) will provide pops of color.

As if we didn't already know that Penelope Cruz is one sexy mama, now we can see more of her feline appeal in Mango's Summer collection. What I love about Penelope as a model is that she's raw, natural, and completely womanly. She's got hips that don't lie and she's not afraid to accentuate them with snug pants. Speaking of pants, there are quite a few in the Summer line: high-waisted jeans, nautical white trousers, denim shorts. There's also bright florals, crisp crochet, studs, and nautical stripes. The prices are also quite reasonable at $29-$129. Seeing how Penelope sizzles in these ads, I can only imagine how these clothes will make me feel once I actually slip them on!

Who's down for some fun jewels? The Dean Harris for Target collection, true to his style, fuses sterling silver, gold, and precious stones into organic and chic adornments. The collection combines a nice offering of modern pieces like the chain-linked bracelet to classic, layer-friendly necklaces. There are also a couple funky items for all you hipsters. I'm crushing on the twisted sterling silver ring and this cute ethereal necklace. These baubles will hit select stores and be online August 17; prices range from $20 to $100 — not bad for Dean Harris, eh?

Are you all ready for another Target GO International collection? Um, always! The photos for Richard Chai for Target have been released and there's more than a few goodies to be had. Exposed zippers are still going strong and there's a good balance between bright and muted colors. There's a nice fusion of feminine and androgynous pieces. Large floral designs will appeal to many, while long vests will excite the menswear-inspired trend followers. My eyes are on the floral blouse, black zipper skirt, and long gray vest. How about you? I can only imagine how nervous designer Deborah Lloyd must be feeling. Her first full collection for Kate Spade was unveiled and you know everyone is judging it with an editor's eye; I'm no exception. The designer said she played with scale and color but kept the DNA of Kate Spade consistent. It's important to note that Lloyd has showcased a holiday and resort collection, as well as some ready-to-wear pieces (left), all at the same time. I'm not crazy about the holiday and classic bags, but the whimsical shoes and jewel tones dresses are Fab. Does Lloyd's collection pass your test?

You may have heard whispers about beach label Quiksilver and its foray into a women's collection. Didn't get the memo? No fear, Fab has the scoop. If you love the slightly sporty, totally laid back look of the label's warm weather duds, there's more where that came from. The designer Summer Rapp (is that her real name? Summer, coincidence?), who has worked with urban brands Volcom and Ever, said, “The collection is designed for the woman who is confident in her casual and timeless wardrobe. She evokes femininity in a very pure and effortless way while still having a certain sexiness about her.”

Get ready for equally sporty and laid back clothes but more grown up and with a downtown vibe. Shrunken jackets, layered tanks, cool plaids and funky jeans offset by detailing like bows and ruffles, embody a well rounded first collection. The garb will launch July 15 online and in-store.

Botkier for Target handbags are right around the corner and we've got 'em for your viewing pleasure. These bags — priced $20-$50 — will be at select Target stores and at Target.com July 20 through September 14. The line includes clutches, wristlets, satchels and hobos that encompass the designer’s philosophy of using hardware as the “jewelry” of the handbag. The focus of design remains on functionality and the colors include black, white, fuchsia and metallics.

What do we think?! I like these brushed metallic satchels, and I like that they come in both silver and gold. Eenie meenie miney moe!

Sneak Peek! Lauren Conrad Beach Butterfly Collection

The name may be a bit cheesy, but I would say Lauren Conrad's latest collection, Beach Butterfly, is my favorite. That's because it includes the dress that Whitney Port wore during Lauren's show at LA Fashion Week (left). I remember loving it when I saw her and wondering if it was from Lauren's collection. There's no doubt the dress was made for the blonde reality starlet, as it's called the Whit Dress ($155).

There is also an Audri Dress ($180), named after friend and The Hills co-star Audrina Patridge. Audrina's is more expensive than Whitney's. Tisk, tisk! The rest of the collection is not surprisingly similar to the rest of her pieces, but I'll let you be the judge.

Rachel Pally's Fall/Holiday collection is right up my alley with the rich colors and interesting but subdued prints — many in her trademark jersey fabric. This collection is a tad more dressed up than usual and '20s-inspired. Standout pieces include a grey jersey jumpsuit, berry-colored dresses, tight mini skirts, and form-fitting, scoop neck tops. I can definitely see myself celebrating the holidays in this collection, feathered headbands and all!

The knitwear looks fabulous and I'm beginning to love the boxy, menswear-inspired cuts. The collection as a whole is quite refreshing and I look forward to seeing it in stores. The collection of bikinis, one-shoulder ruffled tops, volume-sleeve tunics, and floral-print rompers will set you back a mere $14.99 to $44.99. Layering continues to be a significant trend. I don't know about you, but I'm digging all the vibrant floral patterns. What a fresh interpretation of the moody floral trend.

Mendes and Meisel have been posing and snapping away for the ads as well as the May cover of Italian Vogue. I don't know about, this. She looks like she's lying in colorblocked AstroTurf and the faux-crotch shot isn't the best angle. I do like the old-school white conical bra. Thoughts?

Is it me or does Lauren Conrad come out with new collections faster than you can say "Brody Jenner"? I'm not doing the hard work so she can keep it coming as long as she likes!

Her Summer in the City collection is not vastly different than the Spring line — shocking, I know! — but it does have some cute pieces. You'll continue to find jersey dresses, but also in the mix are butterfly prints, ruffles, bows, and an adorable strapless jumper (left) that I'm eyeing.

Sneak Peek! Banana Republic Fall '08 Collection

I know Spring and Summer are on your mind, but switch your mindset for a second because Banana Republic's Fall '08 collection is way desirable. Despite the gloomy weather that accompanies autumn, it's making me look forward to bundling up and layering.

You'll notice this collection is mostly monochrome, with sprinkles of red to surprise the eyes. On the outerwear front, there are lots of greys, extra-long cardigans, cropped pea coats, and slick leather trenches. The trousers are mostly skinny, checkered, and menswear-ish. Fall's frocks come with lots of personality: Prada-inspired lace dress (left), red taffeta sheaths, and sleek LBDs. Tie-front styles and berets are also prevalent for Fall.

H&M's swim collection has been released, which means we can now look forward to super sunny days!

The new head of design Ann-Sofie Johansson made sure to incorporate colors and the ethnic trend. “We wanted to create something very colorful and light, with stand-out print. We were inspired by hot holidays in Africa, India, Hawaii and South America; hence ethnic-style prints such as tropical flowers and leaves, ikat designs, dip-dyes and ombre effects.”

H&M fans can expect bohemian maxi dresses, kimono-sleeved beach cover ups, and lots of earthy bikinis. Accessories include fringed scarves, African-inspired bold jewelery, and raffia-soled flip-flops and peep-toe espadrille wedges.

We already got a sneak peek at J.Crew's Fall collection and now it's Madewell's turn. The more affordable sister line's Fall collection draws inspiration from New York City’s galleries and architecture.

The preview reveals sketch-print tees inspired by an artist’s notebook, brushstroke-print dresses, and grey denim that represents the concrete found throughout the city. Loose tunic tops, a fitted blazer, brightly printed scarves and lots of yellow hues round out the offering.

There are so many high-low designer collaborations these days, I can hardly keep track of them all. But girl am I glad I didn't let the Celia Birtwell for Express one slip through the cracks. Her '60s-inspired prints are just what I need right now. The sweet floral patterns adorning tie-front blouses and airy dresses are a nod to the past but they feel current. I'm definitely making a stop at my local Express this weekend, and I recommend you do the same!

There are only a few things that can make me literally drop everything I'm doing and one of them is anything Olsen related. So that's your cue — stop everything you're doing because Elizabeth and James's Fall '08 collection photos have arrived! Seeing as how you all loved our Elizabeth and James Spring giveaway, we thought you'd appreciate these.

As with any project that Mary-Kate and Ashley undertake, their newest line is a fusion of gritty and girlie. Just what the Olsens ordered. Draped dresses are paired with sheer tights, menswear suits are prettied with tie-neck blouses, and tulip skirts are toughened up with black tees. The theme this time around is rock 'n' roll. Old-school vinyl records, guitar cases, and recording studios set the tone. Rock on sistas, rock on.

You may never get into LA hot spot Les Deux, but now you'll get to dress like you would. At least that's what Lauren Conrad wants you to achieve with her latest Les Deux collection. Even if you've only seen one episode of The Hills, you know that the nightclub is the hangout for the cast. It must be a dope spot if it inspired an entire clothing collection!

I'd say this line is the most interesting from the reality star thus far. It includes this Julie Jumper ($180), a loose dress with braided straps, and a bubble dress with a ruffle neckline. Let's hope this is an indication of more fashion forward things to come from LC . . .

Spring fever is just now hitting, but behind the scenes, it's all about Fall.

The creatives behind J. Crew just presented a preview of their Fall collection, full of the expected bright colors and prints. The collection's inspiration — an artist's muse — was reflected in the ruffled jackets and artsy tees included.

As for the brand's high-end line, the J. Crew Collection, the focus was on hand-beaded jackets and dresses. It all sounds Fab, and right in step with the timeless chic J.Crew does best.

Many may have the Midas touch, but shoe designer Brian Atwood has the sexy touch . . . and as far as I'm concerned, that's more priceless.

Atwood is now bringing his magic to Bally's women's footwear. The way he sees it, he's providing "fresher, easy luxury." He dug deep into the 157-year-old Bally archives for inspiration. The Spring/Summer collection incorporates metal-framed heels and platforms from the '40s. I'd love to scoop up all of his sexy creations.

Sneak Peek! Karl Lagerfeld Behind the Camera

The usually stoic Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld let loose (and even cracked a slight smile) in Madison Square Park on Wednesday while he took on his other occupation: photographer.

His current muse, gazelle-like model Raquel Zimmermann, posed and made silly faces while the designer snapped away for what I'm assuming is the next Fendi ad campaign. Of course, he didn't leave home without his fingerless leather gloves, dark shades, and square-toe boots. I'm digging the tweed trench coat he's donning. These models deserve praise because I can't imagine working with a photographer-slash-designer . . . Kaiser Karl no less!

Sneak Peek! Target's Go International Private Label Collection

Target's Go International collaborations with outside designers like Proenza Schouler and Jovovich-Hawk have been so wildly successful, the retailer has decided to keep the momentum going between collaborations with fashion-forward collections designed in-house.

The first such group launches April 13 and features colorblocked dresses, long vests, wide-legged trouser pants, and lots of color. Prices run $17-$50 and each Go International Private Label Collection will be available for one month. I can't wait, some of this first collection is definitely on my list — see the black and white artsy dress to the left!

Jackie O. first put Finnish textile brand Marimekko on the map when she wore their brightly-patterned dresses during JFK's 1960 presidential campaign. H&M decided to honor that tradition by digging into the vibrant Marimekko archives and bringing back the bold retro prints for their Tribute to Marimekko collection, in stores April 10.

Swimsuits, dresses, scarves, tops, and bottoms will all be available in vivid color combos like red and pink, olive and orange, and red and turquoise. After a mere peek at Vera Wang's latest collection for Kohl's, I'm convinced you'll find everything you need for Spring among her offerings. You know I'm a sucker for Target's GO International lines, but this collaboration may take the cake. From the styling to the prints to the silhouettes, Vera's execution is flawless. The looks range from urban safari chick to ethnic cool, from über sophisticated to hopeless romantic. Though the pieces won't hit the real racks until April, you can purchase them online now! The first batch of Lauren Conrad's Spring '08 collection was rather simple, but the reality star has added new and more interesting pieces. This collection, named Bella, includes a jersey maxi dress (left), a fun full skirt, and a handful of Dolly-print frocks. I admit that LC's designs aren't anything groundbreaking, but they're good for gals who like loose-fitting, comfy fashions.

Oh and I guess this is an appropriate time to tell you that I'll be attending The Lauren Conrad Collection Fall '08 runway show at LA Fashion Week next week! I'm really excited to see what LC will bring us for autumn. Stay tuned . . .

The latest one is Chloë Sevigny's collection for Opening Ceremony. It's mostly eccentric, but did we expect anything else from the quirky actress? I'm talking gingham, florals, and fun frocks — with an early '90s reference. I'd definitely wear individual pieces, though in a slightly more polished way. The reality star's Spring 2008 collection has hit the virtual racks and is ready for purchase. Most of it is very basic, but there are some pieces that stand out, like this Nicole Skirt ($85). We have so much to look forward to this Spring. With its Spring/Summer '08 collection, H&M has given us yet another reason to anticipate the warmer season.

The chain retailer's racks will be overflowing with bold-colored outerwear, fitted dresses, sportswear themes, exposed zippers, ruffles, '70s tunics, wide-leg jeans, and knit dresses. Oh, and it looks like global chic is here to stay. I have dibs on the red trapeze coat and the blue fitted dress. Which items catch your eye?
